Hands down one of the worst Asian markets I have been to in a long long time! I used to work at a few when I was younger and grew up with many different Asian families so Asian food is a big part of my diet now. I also know a fair amount of many languages when it comes to food and normally have no issues finding what I need in any market. Today was a change for the worse! I asked a young stock clerk where I can find Woodward mushrooms (in perfect Vietnamese). She said she didn’t have it. I keep shopping and I 2 forms of dry wood ears just down from her as well as fresh in the cool area! The place was messy and very very smelly. Most who sell fresh fish and seas food have a bit of smell naturally with the open tanks and such but this was bad! The prices were all messy and not many things were in the correct areas both in the cool section and in dry goods. When I go to check out I was charged wrong 2 times and the clerk played dumb and said that has to be it. I take him and show him the sign for the same brand Kim chi that says half that cost. He showed me it says 30oz on the sign and that I have a 28oz container. I show him how there is no other sign and yet 4 spots that have this same brand and size of Kim chi in the store all without tags for other food in front of them! After I complain a bit he agrees to change the price and I took the other item off as I was over the fight! The parking is horrid in back and the store seems very half way put together. There is 5 more markets a few blocks away that are much better. I just saw it and stopped...
Read moreIt was my first time shopping at the new renovated market with my 9 month old son. I was going down a list my parents gave me and didn’t realize I had too many grocery items that I was hauling around via baby stroller. I had to push my stroller and get a separate shopping cart to add the extra items. The owner’s daughter saw my struggle and came to the rescue. She asked her father to help me get ringed up. He pushed my cart to the front of the store. She also notice my very unhappy and hungry son crying so she gave him a Japanese cheesecake on the house because she has a daughter around his age who loves those treats. She also enlisted her mother to help me with pack up my groceries in the trunk of my car. They were so helpful and treated me like family. Hands down the best experience at any market or store I have the pleasure of going through. I live out of town but will gladly drive to their market to support their business. They really know how to make you feel like part of...
Read moreI honestly wish to give zero star if I can. We work in a restaurant in broomfield and have to buy some blue crabs by cases. I could be a 40 mins drive so I made 2 phone calls to them just to make sure that they do have any blue crabs (The reason why I made 2 phone calls is because they cheated on crabs as well). And they were like they do have blue crabs for both of the phone calls so I drove to them. What is funny is when I go to the seafood section and the seafood manager told me they don’t have any blue crabs while the cashier also the one answered my phone calls before still stick to that they have the blue crabs. So I require she walk me to the seafood section and show me where the blue crabs at. And then she realized that they are out of the blue crabs. Wondering like how hard for her just walk to the seafood section and check out that if they do have whatever the costumers need. Will never come again and do any business with these cheaters again...
