Produce is what you'd expect, woman behind the counter today 7/31/24 around 3pm was anything but pleasant. Never acknowledged me when I walked in, then became very rude because I put a plastic produce bag back where I ripped it from so someone else could use it cause I decided not to get the basil I originally intended on getting, huffed and puffed from behind the counter snatched it up to throw away, when I apologized, she just glared at me. Continued to be very unpleasant ringing me up when telling me they keep the cardboard containers the cherry tomatoes are kept in by saying "we keep these" since I had put it in a plastic bag to prevent from spilling in my reusable bag, so I had to undo the knot to give it back to her (which is fine but the way she was speaking to me was very nasty and uncalled for). It's never crowded on beautiful weekend afternoons, but locals know about this treasure. Every year we bring our dogs with us in October to go for a short hay ride, gather some pumpkins in the field, and we always buy some fresh apple cider, gords, corn, and other farm-fresh local produce.
