Sun Sun Chinese Restaurant — Attraction in Derry

Food was 10 out of 5 stars, it was that good!! Freshly made and piping HOT, HOT...SO HOT! I don't even write reviews more that once every few years. Atmosphere was okay but very clean (bathroom included). Owner was very welcoming and proud of her place, she was very sweet. There was just a few things I didn't like... we placed our order with the counter girl for eat-in but had to ask for everything once food started coming out. (Plates, forks and such). The plates were paper and small (she only gave us 2, but we ordered pupu for two and two noodle dishes. We had to request more plates after asking for plates to begin with)and the utensils were plastic. For eat in, I prefer real plates and silverware. We needed to remind her about the sauces we asked for as well. Nothing was a deal breaker, especially since the food was so incredible. For me if it's good atmosphere and terrible food I won't be back but here if you can over look a few minor issues then get ready for the best Cantonese food I've had...

Tried this place for the first time tonight and it will certainly not be our last time here. My husband and I shared the orange chicken combo (came with crab Rangoons and choice of rice) and the large teriyaki mix (chicken and beef). Every single item was phenomenal and fresh. The orange chicken was burning hot it was so fresh, huge chunks of tender white meat. The crab Rangoons were actually crispy and had a good amount of filling, and the teriyaki beef and chicken had incredible flavor (especially the beef). Huge portions, price was very fair, the customer service was excellent, and the menu had a vast selection to choose from! There is even a “diet” section with some lighter options which I’ve never seen from a Chinese restaurant before. Restaurant was also VERY clean when we went in to pick up. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Our friend also ordered food and said it was the best he’s ever...

I love Chinese food and unfortunately this place was disappointing, the food was not that good, I called and ordered takeout and paid over the phone, when my husband got there to pick it up, they made him pay again, they completely messed up my order, I ordered a meal that had chicken fingers, crab rangoons, and a spring roll, I asked for an egg roll instead of a spring roll, ended up getting no chicken fingers and extra spring rolls, so basically my meal was rice, crab rangoons, and 5 spring rolls. My husband's orange chicken was good but that was the only good thing about this place... So was double charged for a disappointing dinner... hopefully they can at least reverse the second charge and I will most likely not be returning to this place.
