I'm sharing this one off experience just incase others run into this problem. Our phones do not have a data plan, I know rare in this day and age. We called prior to purchasing our tickets to find out if we needed to be connected to wifi to be able to take the tour since the audio tour is done through your phone. The person we spoke to on the phone said no, no wifi connection needed. Our mistake that we did not clarify if there needed to be an internet connection. The check in process was okay. When purchasing your ticket you pick which time slot you'd like to attend. Because of covid only one group at a time was able to tour the house. The grounds tour was suggested to us while we wait. We connected to their guest wifi and went on our tour. Quick to realize the audio tour stops working once you are out of range of the wifi network. I tried explaining our troubles to both staff members who were clueless of how wifi/data networks work. They needed to call their manager to figure it out. So the manager comes down, and I explain our troubles and she said the audio tour wouldn't work if there was no internet connection. Which is why we called ahead of time knowing our situation. I asked her for her solution and what people do if they don't have phones. She replied along the lines of we don't recommend this tour for those. Poor business promotion, unknowlageble staff, unsatisfying solution. She offered us a refund and we left. It was disappointing because we called ahead of time to inquire about the tour and we were mislead (again we did not specify so that is our fault) had we known about the outcome prior we wouldn't have made the hour round trip drive to visit. 2 stars because the grounds were pretty, and at least the outside of the pueblo was...

Read moreWhat a neat museum! After being closed for a year due to the pandemic they are now open! HOORAY! I was camping in the area for a week and decided to check this place out as I love museums. For a small fee, you will learn so much about the Pueblo’s history! As you enter each room there is audio to accompany it. The audio explains the room and even points out artifacts in the rooms and stories behind them. I was happy they had a virtual way of going through the inside of the museum as it made me feel free to take my time in each room. They space the tour indoors by 15 minutes in order to maintain social distancing and covid restrictions. I loved I got to be in the pubelo by myself, free to take as much time as I wanted. So many picture opportunities. The outdoor tour is just as amazing! And also free, so you can park and walk around the outside of the pubelo. But the neat stuff is inside! Like the man cave which you HAVE to see! I couldn’t believe man caves existed back then! So make sure you visit the whole museum. The staff was so friendly and so happy to have customers. I would defiantly come back here. Took about an hour to walk around and get the...
