Loved every moment on this property! What a gem of an oasis in the middle of a desert. I am not a fan of fancy spas or large shared spaces, so the Good House was such a perfect find during my trip to Desert Palm Springs this weekend. It had none of the pretentious or overhyped vibes that resort-style spas have. Instead it feels like a cozy backyard at a cute cottage. It’s a tiny property with lots of cute spots to hang out, friendly people who may be staying in the boutique hotel, carrying stuff and attentive owner. I was looking for a day pass to enjoy the mineral waters, while traveling through with my 20 lbs dog. It was essential for me that the dog could join, considering that it’s 105° outside in June. Not only was they able to accommodate, they welcomed my dog to join and enjoy his day too. We loved every moment there! Both pools were clean and well kept. Temps of 90-95 degrees in a larger pool, and 95-100 in the smaller. They had lots of cute sitting areas, gazebo, grass for the dogs to run, shade from the trees, etc. Towels and water/tea were also provided. There were a few other people doing day passes, and a few hotel guests who were all very friendly and respectful. My dog got to play with other pups, who were well behaved and friendly. While I got my pool time and got to relax for the day. They do not serve food on the property, but you’re welcome to bring your own lunch, snack and drinks. Day pass hours are 11 AM to 5 PM. They have shower for day visitors too. Lots of parking on the gravel lots next to the few spots right in front of the building. Enough room to accommodate an RV or van, which was my case. Glad that parking wasn’t stressful, plus it’s free!

The room was clean and well decorated… just perfect with a mini kitchen and a patio with a hammock! The restaurant had wonderful meals, perfectly done to your specifications. The staff is very friendly and helpful at all times. Beautiful details that make the stay memorable. We will visit again and again! We visited last week again and we will come again! The staff is absolutely fantastic, so nice and helpful, they made us feel like family. The chef, Van prepared delicious breakfast and lunch. The pancakes were done exactly the way I like them, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The BBQ chicken pizza was just perfect for lunch! Again, the room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The lobby has complementary coffee and at 5:00pm they bring out cookies, what a nice treat! We will keep coming back for more. Thank you Emily, Van, George and all the team that made our stay special.

The Good House is run by the good people, has good location (Miracle Hill with the underground mineral spring with its natural healing and restorative properties), and good vibe! Actually, the best! It’s a little oasis, peaceful and quiet with perfect, not disturbing at all choice of music. I visit this place regularly for a soak and swim whenever I’m in Palm Springs. It’s 25 min drive. They showed me the rooms too. They look great with a little kitchen and patio. Great place to reset, relax, rejuvenate. Hot springs mineral water is underrated. In 2019 I had an arm injury (which doctors couldn’t diagnose properly). I was in pain for 8 months every day and night, until I did 3 soaks in natural, mineral, hot springs, and miraculously my injury was gone. So it’s true what they say: underground, hot mineral water does the wonders, and The Good House has two pools filled with it♥️

Stepping onto the property of The Good House boutique hotel and Spa instantly brought a sense of balance and calming energy to my body. From the moment I arrived, I was embraced by the warmth of this serene space.||The gentle chirping of the birds and the soothing sound of water flowing over the rocks created a magical ambiance that was exactly what I was looking for. || Emilia greeted me at the front desk with a genuine and welcoming smile, setting the tone for a truly wonderful stay. A delightful surprise awaited me after checking in—a bottle of wine placed at my door as a birthday gift. This gesture truly added a special touch to my visit.||My room was clean and radiated a warm, inviting energy. The eucalyptus hanging in the shower, while a nice touch, was dry and did not offer the steaming experience that it should have. |The hammock on the private patio became my personal sanctuary, offering moments of respite and reflection. However, I did notice that some of the plants on the private patio appeared to be dead or in poor condition. While this was a minor detail, refreshing the greenery could further enhance the overall ambiance and attention to detail.||The gentle chirping of the birds and the soothing sound of water flowing over the rocks created a magical ambiance that was exactly what I needed.|For my birthday dinner, I ordered from a small menu that offered the convenience of having your meal brought to wherever you'd like on the property. I chose the barbecue chicken salad with a side of crispy potatoes and enjoyed it at the round glass table surrounded by nature. The setting was perfect, and the meal was delightful. I would give the salad a 7, but the crispy potatoes were a standout, and I give that dish a 10 out of 10.||Sitting under the pergola In the evening surrounded by pomegranate trees was incredibly peaceful, enhancing the tranquility of the experience. The sauna provided a perfect escape, enveloping me in its warmth, while the grassy area underfoot offered a delightful coolness that was refreshing and grounding. As the evening descended, the fire pit offered both physical warmth and a comforting glow, enhancing the cozy atmosphere.||Having 24-hour access to the mineral pools was heaven. Waking up early in the morning and stepping into the luxurious 110-degree pool, followed by a leisurely swim in the bigger 90-degree heated pool, was truly the chef's kiss to my experience. Grace's thoughtful and intentional service, especially when she served me an early morning coffee poolside, added a personal touch that I truly appreciated.| Swimming later in the evening under the night sky was a very serene experience, adding an extra layer of relaxation to my stay. |While there were plenty of towels at hand, I couldn't help but notice that several of them were worn/frayed and or had holes. This minor issue took away slightly from the overall luxurious experience and could be addressed to enhance the attention to detail.||My time at The Good House was thoughtful and rejuvenating offering a tranquil oasis and making it a memorable experience.|With attention to details, such as refreshing the greenery, upgrading the towels, and ensuring the eucalyptus in the shower is fresh, |would elevate the overall experience.|I...

We love The Good House! We rented out the entire property for 3 days for our wedding reception, and it is a magical place. I stumbled upon TGH just searching for places to have our reception, as we were going to do the ceremony in Joshua Tree National Park, and as soon as I saw the website, I knew it was going to be perfect. We booked it sight unseen! We had a small wedding/elopement, and us and our families stayed on the property the three days. Everyone loved the updated rooms, the perfectly warm pool temp, and the calming quiet vibes of the secluded hideaway. They gave us free reign of the property, and we took over the kitchen making family meals the entire stay, aside from the night of the wedding where we had a chef come to cook for us (Shout-out to Chef Jay of The Wright Service based in San Diego - you rock!)

I want to especially call out the on site manager Vanessa, she was an absolute rockstar and helped us achieve our wedding dreams. She went above and beyond for us every single day of our stay. She ensured we had everything we needed or wanted, she rolled with all of the punches, and really worked overtime to make sure our wedding day was perfect. All of the staff on-site was excellent, very friendly, courteous, and all went above and beyond to help us out when we needed it. The owner, Brian, who we met when we checked in for our wedding, was awesome, and also went out of his way to make sure our wedding day was great. Including going out and buying speakers so we could jam out to our curated playlists all three days!

They are under new management, and there were some hiccups in communication with coordination. So much so that I almost gave up on this as a wedding venue early on.Though the five stars are still warranted here, as everyone we interacted with in person was amazing. We gave Brian some constructive feedback, and he was very responsive, took responsibility, and rectified the issues.

The property is gorgeous, the staff is amazing, and the mineral pools are healing and wonderful. Each night of our stay, our entire family ended up in the pool! Don't hesitate in booking your relaxing desert stay at...

Easter Plans tossed by hotel............Incredibly disappointed to be treated so poorly after already TWO hotel stays in less than two years. We loved it, We told everyone about it. We couldn't wait to get back so when The Goodhouse themselves sent ME a CYBER monday sale email, I booked immediately for April since the offer was good through May 2025. I still have the email. But only two weeks before our APRIL trip, they just refunded my money I had already paid, and did NOT call me! I had to call and find out what happened. They said they DOUBLE BOOKED! How can that be when I booked back in DEC 2024! Way in advance! All they could say and do was offer us another gross hotel that did NOT compare and did NOT take dogs.... another reason we loved this location so much, my dog loved it and chilled with us and the staff loved him. We never did receive a valid reason but of course we figured out it was most likely due to COACHELLA events and some big rich daddy o walked in and the owner TOOK THE CASH over his clients. It's NOT a good look in the slightest since this is a fairly new black owned hotel. They literally kicked out 7 rooms with at least 2 people each.. so they kicked out 14 paying clients for some singer and her entourage most likely. I hope they use the dirty cash to fix all the issues this hotel has such as a bad door on the sauna, the firepit needs maintenance, ALL the cheap teak wood chairs are falling apart... the back patios all need refurbishing....BUT probably NOT. The only GOOD thing now I can say about this place is the staff. Emily is awesome.. the ladies who clean are so nice. The "chef" is very nice but the food is NOT as good as everyone says... Long story short.... They don't care about your reservation and will kick you out if some money is thrown at them. I'll be at the spa up the street from now on. They...
