Great little grocery and deli store specializing in Mexican foods. Nice department with fresh veggies, hot peppers, and fruits. Good variety of cheeses and prepacked chicken, beef and pork cuts. Wide assortment of canned and dry foods. Many brands are those you would find in grocery stores in Mexico. The deli counter has a big selection of meats and large selection of prepacked corn or flower tortillas. Also available is hot food, lunch specials and fresh tamales by the dozen. Good selection of cold beer beverages. Oh, great sections of dry spices and herbs used in Mexican dishes. You wouldn't find it in a big brand store. This place is clean, well organized, with friendly staff. No need to check yourself out as they have kept their cashiers. If you can't find it just ask. A safe parking lot on site. A good value for your hard earned dollars. I live 20 miles south in the down river area, but I have been shopping here for a good 20 years. A...

Read moreWent there for the first time last week to get some items off of Dr.Sebi's nutritional list. So if you're looking for those hard to find exotic fruits, veggies, and herbs, try here. I found the tila tea, chamomile tea, cuachalalate herb for tea, tamarind, soursop juice, prickly pears, tomatillos, nopales, and chayote squash. If you visit, ask for Irene. She is one of the managers (I think). She was very kind, friendly, and helpful enough to walk me thru the store, and explain how to pronounce everything, as well as how to cook them. I went back yesterday. Good store. My only con is that the produce is a little small, and one of the other lady managers is a little cold, don't know what her problem is, but Irene is absolutely fabulous! Oh, and they have a great...
