This park can be very nice and peaceful and you can make great memories here, but the area is way too sketchy. My friends and I have had way too many encounters with creepy men asking inappropriate questions. This park feels a bit secluded. The area its in is diagonally below a freeway and next to a quiet neighborhood. It is very secluded if you’re there at certain times. If you go here, especially with children, you need to keep an eye on them at all times and watch out for the people around you. I recommend not coming alone and telling someone that you are at this park. I also recommend only coming on days where there would be a lot of people in case something happens. The Diamond Bar Blvd entrance is small maybe 5 spots. The south entrance( Diamond Bar blvd) is the start of a hiking trail and it leads to either a small loop or continues down (north) towards the main park.
