This park was the perfect stop for our family as we drove from northern Michigan back home to Chicago! There was a fenced dog park, plentiful play equipment on wood chips (no sand!), a covered picnic pavilion, and well-maintained port-a-potties. Both my toddler and preschooler enjoyed the playground while I sat at a picnic table to nurse the baby and my husband let our pup roam the dog park. Great spot for everyone to stretch their legs and burn some energy just off the highway.

Beautiful views and beach, not too busy and the long walk is worth it. Warning no bath houses, but their are portapotties in the parking lot and one out house along the trail to the beach. Many people set up hammocks at the top of the dune overlooking the lake in the shade. Path is not wagon or stroller friendly.

Wonderful park nestled up against the interstate. Separate dog parks for small and large dogs. Usually the big dog side is larger but these two sections are both nice sized to play. The playground is pretty nice and roomy, spots to unload your boat and a picnic area. Great little spot.

Soccer field is incredible and a nice spot to put in for kayaking. The park leaves a bit to the imagination as far as equipment kids have to play on. Also, the area the volleyball net is at is EXTREMELY buggy. The baseball field is decent and used by the schools often...

The grass is impeccable and the general area is kept up very nicely. However, sorry....but there seriously should be tennis courts here instead. It is a spot that the bored police in town will hang out...so beware of...

Nice Lil park. Seen a few times if the Interstate. If u like bank fishing this isn't the spot. What I did stop by to see is boat dock. It's nice not hard to get into. Also gonna bring kayaks back to fish right off to the left. Beat u can get some good catfish or bass in there. More news to come. Oh !!! On way out I seen they had a Lil dog area. Let my dog Jake out to stretch his legs. Look really clean to....
