Duncanville Fieldhouse — Attraction in Duncanville

I attended my Neice baby shower here and it was really nice the little area she rented for four hours. She was right by the door so no one had to walk far. It was enough space for over 30 guests and they provided tables and chairs. Very nice comfortable chairs. Parking was really good. The parking lot was not over crowded or anything. My reason for only three stars is because the bathrooms were inside of the gym which wasn’t the issue. The issue is both bathrooms were very very nasty and dirty. There was No running water in the first bathroom to wash your hands. Being able to use a bathroom and wash your hands is very important. Even if there’s no hot water at least provide some type of water for the public that is visiting your establishment to be able to wash their hands. The soap dispenser did work but no water. The other bathroom had water all over the floor for some reason which is not good because someone could easily slip and fall. Overall if it wasn’t for the bathrooms I would have given this establishment five stars. Would I ever revisit this place again, yes I would because of how nice the room they rented out to my Neice was. If someone else has something at this place that I am invited to. I am very impressed with the Before and After School Program at the Duncanville Fieldhouse. My daughter is new to the school district and her school and the Program Coordinator put my mind at ease knowing they will pick my daughter up on time, feed her, and safely transport her to the Fieldhouse. They will even assist her with her homework, if she needs it. After speaking with the Program Coordinator several times over the phone, I felt confident that she truly cares about the kids in the program. I enrolled my daughter in the program and have been very pleased every since. Additionally, the center is really clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The price for the afterschool program is very reasonable considering they transport my daughter from school to the center, help with homework, if needed and feed her. For a single mom that is priceless! My daughter is happy as well. She prefers I pick her up around 6:30 pm, even though I can get there by 5:45 pm on a good day, because she really likes going there. This camp is awesome!!! Being a working mom, I am not having to find different camps for my daughter to attend all summer long - it is all in one convenient place! This the 5th year that my daughter has been coming to this camp. There are so many different activities and field trips for them all summer long. They never have a chance to get bored! She enjoys all the fun, the field trips, and she loves the showcases at the end of each session! She meets new friends every year plus many of her friends come back, too. Many of the staff are there every year so they get to know these kids and the parents. Coach Pearson and his staff make it a safe place for the kids, and they really care and look out for them.
