U-Haul Moving & Storage of Spring Hill — Attraction in Dundee Township

My only suggestion is keep it up! The staff at this location proved to be awesome. We received nothing, but top notch service! They pulled an extra TV box just trying to make sure we didn't forget our purchase.

The young men we dealt with this morning were extremely friendly, helpful, and patient. We checked in to pick up our truck rental and were on our way in a few quick moments.

One extreme moving session later...

We managed to drop it off without much headache. The truck was clean and served us well. It took a lot of headache out of our move.

I cannot blame the thorough drop off procedures a bit; Better off making sure all liabilities are covered these days. I appreciated the fact that we could wrap up everything with a cell phone even later at night.

Worst possible service !!!!!!! They said it would take a couple of hours to install a hitch. I dropped my car off 10 mins before my appt. and went and had lunch, and took a few calls. I came back two hours later and the car had not been touched. They said they got busy with other cars. All they would've had to do it call or text me, but they decided not to. I then had to Uber home. When I came back at 5:15, because they close at 6, I found they had scratched my bumper on a brand new car. I asked if a manager could come out and look, and the front desk person went into the back and returned to say just get an estimate and they would see what they could do. I requested again that someone come out and look at the damage, and was told no. I tried to save a couple hundred dollars instead of just waiting for a car from the manufacturer that had a hitch. I figured since I only rent from U-Haul, I would have them put the hitch on. What a mistake. I read the other reviews and thought this was worth the drive to West Dundee. Wow...

I bought a hitch online at uhaul.com on Aug 20, 21 and had set up an appointment for it to be attached to my car. My appointment for the hitch to he installed on my car is Sept 14. So I go to the store today and the guy on the counter says “the hitch for my car is not available!” I go then and says how come noone has informed me that the hitch was unavailable? Or at least an email stating the hitch is not available? I am not blaming the guy on the counter but this is unacceptable and very frustrating. A simple email would have suffice or at least the Spring Hill mall U haul could have left me a voicemail. Also, my credit card was already charged of the hitch and installment and this happened!
