12/31/2024 I ordered a family-sized lasagna, and my son picked it up. We received the message at 6 PM that our order was ready, and he left to pick it up right then. He was handed the order at 7:15. Honestly, I didn’t expect a $64.99 lasagna to be so small. At least it became the joke of the night, and we had fun with it. However, I’m very disappointed that the size wasn’t what I expected. How can such a small portion feed 4 to 6 people? Service was Great Alyssa did a Great Job Olive Garden is my favorite Restaurant, I love the toscana soup, but I dont order it anymore because lately is been taste less, today I try it again and it was flavor less, I order my favorite Chicken & Shrimp carbonara and it was very dissapointed, is like they forgot to put salt in my plate, I usually eat my whole plate and the left overs from my wifes plate, Not today 😪😪. Come on Olive Garden 😡😡😡.

Olive Garden offers a comfortable dining atmosphere with friendly service and a variety of Italian dishes. The menu includes pasta, soups, salads, and breadsticks that suit different tastes. Portions are generous, and the restaurant is usually busy during dinner hours. The food quality is consistent, and the overall experience feels casual and family-friendly. It’s a typical chain restaurant where you know what to expect — reliable and straightforward Italian-American comfort food.

Wow, I have to admit I was completely wrong about Olive Garden! When my sister suggested going, I laughed, thinking it would mean mediocre food, bad service, and unimpressive drinks. But this location totally proved me wrong. Our waitress was absolutely amazing—seriously one of the nicest people I’ve ever met (wish I remembered her name!). The food was delicious, and the drinks were fun and creative. Way to go, Olive Garden—you’ve changed my mind!

My wife suggested Olive Garden for dinner last night. OG just started advertising the "buy 1, take 1 one deal, so we decided to take advantage of this excellent deal. I called to place my order, I showed up 5 minutes before our food was supposed to be ready, I called from the car and gave my parking space number....and then waited and waited and waited. I'm not the most patient person, but I was doing my best to be empathetic to the situation and grateful for the folks working. Finally, my food arrived at my window, I thanked the person and rushed home to my eager & hungry family. Much to my disappointment, 50% of the order was incorrect. Both of our daughters work in food service and I hear customer horror stories all the time...I didn't want to be that guy. I calmly called at the instruction of my wife and daughter to let the folks at OG know about our order. I was willing to drive back the 20 minutes just as long as it could be ready as soon as I arrived, instead they offered to drive it to the house...so, I accepted the offer. Olive Garden quickly delivered our missing food, included extra salad and bread sticks and apologized for the incorrect order. I understand things like this happen, (and never at the right time). I was extremely impressed how the staff handled our situation and what they did to make it right. Thanks to everyone at Olive Garden West Dundee, we appreciate what you did (especially the kind and friendly delivery driver). Keep up...

I’ve been to this Olive Garden several times and on all of those occasions I would have rated my visit five stars. Tonight was different. Our server never brought us our check. Ever. We paid at the kiosk on the table. I got up and walked over to the entryway of the kitchen twice to get things the table needed. I boxed everything up, placed it in the bag and walked out. Later, I noticed my purse was missing. I had hung it on the back of my chair. I called and expected them to say it’s here. I didn’t expect a half of an hour spent listening to the hostesses talk about their weekend. I called on my fiancé’s phone and asked to speak to the manager. Thirty minutes of nonsense only to have the manager immediately confirm the purse was there. I take full responsibility for leaving my purse. I blame Olive Garden for allowing their hostess to sit the phone down and talk to their friends for twenty three minutes. It was so bad I had to use my fiancé’s phone just to remind them they left the other line open. I made it clear I would continue to follow up so they finally put the manager on the phone. My advice to Olive Garden is to fire every single hostess working today. Your customers do not want to hear them yammer on for twenty three minutes about non-work related topics. Hire adults and not immature teens who can’t understand simple requests. The lack of intelligence was on par for the lack of professionalism displayed by the hostesses. Stupidity abounds at...

I just picked up a to-go order at Olive Garden, and it was such a phenomenal experience that I’m sitting here in my car, risking my food getting cold, to write this review before I drive home.

From start to finish, this was the best carry out experience I’ve had - and I’ve had a few. Here are the things that stood out...

  1. I was greeted at the door with friendly enthusiasm - even when they realized I was there for carry out. So often restaurant hosts or hostesses seem suddenly disappointed when they realize you’re not there to dine in.

  2. I was offered a drink while I waited for my order to finish. I arrived early, so I expected to wait for a few minutes - but I didn’t expect to be served a drink while I waited.

  3. The highlight of the experience was when my food was brought out from the kitchen. Hiram (my to-go serve) brought my entire order out in a basket and proceeded to bag everything in front of me - item by item - to ensure that everything was correct. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve picked up an already bagged order and discovered (in the car or worse - at home) that the order was wrong.

Literally everything about this experience was awesome. So often carry-out diners are treated with a bit less enthusiasm and attention-to-detail than those who choose to dine in. But not here.

Thank you, West Dundee Olive Garden, for an awesome experience - I’ll...
