In regards to the Causeway Plaza....I have only shopped there a handful of times but this is what I can tell you: On Wednesday the thrift store is 50% off for people that are up to 55yrs old. And they have certain days that are discounted for seniors and students as well. Next door that have a place called Just Bargains and they have deeply discounted home essentials like hygiene supplies & food items (mostly snacks). The lady that runs Just Bargains is quite a character so its an enjoyable experience. They also have clothes and other random things for the house. The plaza also has a restaurant/diner that I have never eaten at but judging by their loyal customers the food must be pretty good. There's a chinese restaurant that is very good and a new smoothie/ice ream place that my roommate said was Amazing. THERE'S a gas station that has a little bit of everything and it's opened 24hrs/day, located off the corner of the parking lot. There's also a bingo game in the Plaza that seems to get alot of hype. Besides that there's a McDonald's👍,Dollar General which is very convenient ( but they have a RUDE female employee with a buzz cut so I refuse to go in there because she ruins my day almost every time). Overall there's something for everyone and I appreciate not having to travel too far for the...
Read moreEveryone was Super helpful on this trip to Publix! Was getting steaks for the cookout and what was out on display were VERY THIN NY Strips and I mean thin as in 1/4th inch thickness and packaged in 3 packs. I asked the man in the meat department if he could cut some thicker and he came back with some 1 inch thick!! And SOOOOO much better looking for the grill. And I got to choose from the aray, not everyone likes NY Strips and especially at prices "in these penny pinching day's". We were Very pleased with the quality of the restocked steaks, corn was awesome bi-colored tender & sweet (5 for $2.00, and potatoes were also on sale. Publix was giving free samples of cheese, bread, fruit, etc. So basically I had lunch by tasting everything! I love this store as it's Always so clean and employees are Always very friendly and helpful here. This Largo store on Belcher & Highland puts the one on Enterprise Rd & McMillan to shame! As that one is not as helpful, friendly and clean (in appearance). So there Are Differences between the two. ...
Read moreSadly, the shopping center was hit by Hurricane Helena and some of the stores are still rebuilding. The restaurants are open, but don't know how they did that when everything else was under water? All the stores and restaurants are good. There's a bingo hall that's always busy. Couple of empty stores. The landlord really needs to fix the center up. It's really old and dated looking and they just fixed parking lot finally. There's general dollar, big thrift store, restaurants, bingo, offices, hair salon, tailor. It's located right by the beach causeway, so easy to get to. Hoping to see it opened all the way and maybe getting rid of...
