Durham County Library - South Regional Library — Attraction in Durham

Y'all, this place is amazing! The security guards, cleaning crew, and customer service members are incredibly friendly. Tables are wiped down and reset often. I've never been in a public bathroom that was so clean! I wish hours were longer for studying, but I can definitely respect that this isn't a campus library that can support 24/7 hours. The library stays pretty quiet outside of a few people doing Zoom meetings in the designated quiet area or occasional kids running around. I can see why this library is voted #1. The is sooo much to love !! In summer, they have great reading programs for both youth and adults. Large selection of books, and many current ones, that would have to pay $20.00 ++ on Amazon. The have nice meeting rooms for just about anything . Easy parking , and right across street is a fabulous Polish deli, which makes outrageous sandwiches.

They also have a fair number of DVD's to watch, and again, current movies as well.

I really enjoy visiting this location. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The resources there are endless and it's just a nice relaxing atmosphere. I check out books and movies.
