I travel almost weekly for my business. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the last 12 years. That being said I have never had such a bad experience with any other hotel!!! I went and setup on Friday for work. I got to the hotel around 6. I had booked ahead. Handicapped room with a service dog. Her registration # is on file and I always hand them her federal registration card with her picture and registration # on it. (which I do not have to do). When I checked in I was told I would be on the second floor and there was no elevator. I have had numerous brain and heart surgeries. I have seizures and other health issues. I told the guy at the desk I physically can not do stairs. He told me that was my room. It would not be changed. I asked there were no other rooms at all? He told me no. I asked if I pay extra you can’t put me down stairs? For $25 he moved me downstairs into a room exactly like I booked but in a handicapped room. The next morning I left the do not disturb sign on my door and went to the show for over 10 hours. When I returned to the hotel my room key no longer worked. I went to the office and took my service dog with me. She did not have on her vest. Just her leash. I waited about 25 minutes while the guy at the desk talked on the phone about room rates. He got to me and reprogrammed my card. I got into my room and the maid service had disregarded my do not disturb sign and came in anyways with room service. About 20 minutes later I was getting into the shower. The front desk was calling. He asked did I have a pet in my room? I told him no. I have a SERVICE DOG. He laughed at me and told me my card on file would be charged for both nights for a pet. I asked For a SERVICE DOG?! He continued to talk over me about charging my card. I got back dressed and went to the front desk (angry at this point). I handed him my dogs identification card AGAIN. He made a copy of it and told me I would have to discuss it with the front desk at checkout. I went back to the front desk the following morning and told the third guy what had happened. $25 to accommodate being handicapped. Charged for a SERVICE DOG. He looked at the computer. Yes I was charged an ADDITIONAL $109. I told him my room was PREPAID. He refused to give me my money back stating my issue was with Priceline and not them. If you book this hotel BEWARE!!!!

I have not even mentioned the two roaches that were in the room the second day or how dark the parking lot is. I did not mention the trash everywhere at the stairs. I did not mention the noise level.

Worst stay anywhere in 12 years and I paid over $300 for...

I was in town yesterday for a wedding, never had been here before. This place was nothing like the pictures or reviews. Worst place I have ever been to as an overnight place in my life. I got there, within 5 minutes I saw people doing drugs in the open in the parking lot, I got to the room which smelled horrible, there was black mold on the door, the door was not sealed and could hear all traffic from the highway next door. I got an Uber to the wedding I was in for and had trouble getting an Uber, when I finally got one the driver advised no Uber drivers want to go there because they have picked up people on drugs or people looking to rob them. He advised I go to my room and get my bag and find another place to stay because it would not be safe for me to stay there overnight. I took his advice and had to find another hotel at almost $180 for the night but was glad I did for my safety and ability to sleep at another hotel. It also looked like people live at this place as doors were wide open people walking around in nothing. I've traveled a lot and stayed in some rough areas but this was the worst 30 minutes I've ever been somewhere and not felt safe and knew I couldn't stay overnight or arrive back at night after the wedding for my safety or risk of being robbed. Like I said I saw someone literally doing hard drugs in the parking lot in the walk from the check in to my room next to the major highway the noise was ridiculous from the highway. The outlets were not even screwed to the wall and we're pushing out from the wall and you could see and touch the wires. The water smelled like sulfur. This place made slums look like resorts. They should refund me...

I ended up at this place because everywhere else was booked due to graduations that weekend. I'm giving this a 3 star only because the guys at the welcome desk were very polite. The room was on the first floor and well insulated from the noise, however, because it faces the highway I could hear the traffic which was expected. The air condition worked well and I was very comfortable. I was pleased to have a small fridge and a microwave and all the lights worked well, and comfy pillows. The cleaners need to clean around the outside of the bathroom tub because it was dirty and grimy.||The drawback to this hotel was that the image of the breakfast area was very disappointing, and looked nothing like the images on the website. I arrived there at approx. 8:00 a.m. and there was absolutely nothing to eat (nothing like what was shown in the online picture). Continental breakfast? No way! The only persons creating waffles looked like a couple off the street getting some free breakfast. The coffee creamer and sugar containers were dirty-looking and there was no one managing the area. I walked out very very disappointed. I was happy to locate a small fast food place within walking distance where I bought some food and went back to my room.||I won't stay there again, but I think this can be a fairly satisfactory place to stay for a short while if they update the eating area to look like what's really on the website instead of misleading images, and have breakfast items as shown. They need to clean around the bathroom tubs. The door has a security latch that is broken so I felt unsafe and had to place a couple chairs...

This review is from tonight 10/19. It was the only hotel with availability due to the N.C. State Fair being in town that didn’t cost over $400 to stay in. I understand that a motel will usually be nothing to write home about however this experience was scary to say the least. When we pulled into the parking lot, there was 2 police cars and an ambulance. Check in was slow but the guy was friendly enough. The room was non smoking but reeked of freshly smoked cigarettes (still had ash on the light nightstand) and the sheets smelled as if that room was always a smoking room as their scent was stale cigarettes. The bathroom door handle broke off when we went to open it. Once we turned on the light, there was blood on the front of the door and two huge patches trying to “cover” punches or kicks to the door. The door didn’t even close all the way shut due to being longer than the door frame. The bathroom mirror was falling completely apart exposing yellow and foul smelling glue as its temporary fix. The walls were so thin you could hear everything. Someone was texting next to us that’s how thin. Didn’t even stay past 10 minutes before the smoke made our nose and lungs act up. We went to the front desk and shared the pictures to the gentleman who offered another room but we declined. We asked for a refund but he said that the policy is all rooms are not refundable but to try calling our booking agency who said it’s up to the hotel to refund us. The hotel didn’t refund us. Never again will I allow myself to book this place even out of desperation. We decided to make the 3 hour drive back home instead of staying there.

Hubby and I were traveling and stopped here because they allow pets. When we pulled into the parking lot there was literally group of people sitting outside drinking cases of beer straight out the carton but I didn't let that deter me and we decided to get a room anyway. We have a disabled cat and we were absolutely just ready to get off the road. When we got inside the room there were no towels and we told the front desk attendant and he gave us a set of towels which were very clean. Are room itself was extremely dated it was like a blast from the past from the 80s however it was really clean. There were nice clean sheets and pillows on the bed. I am a very big stickler for the bottom of the toilets being cleaned and the mirrors and I was so excited when I seen that the mirrors and the bottom of the toilets were cleaned. The bathtub plug was not hooked up so I could not take a bath so it was a shower only moment. I drive a very big truck and I had a hard time parking in the parking lot and I had to park my Chevy in front of the office because I couldn't get it in the space where the rooms were. So be prepared to park somewhere if you have a big truck. It was for the most part very quiet even though you could hear the people walking around upstairs and we were next to the laundry room so we could hear the washing machines kick on and off all morning. We ending up staying 2 days. If I'm ever passing threw her again I'd stay again if I have the car with me. They had a pool but it was filled in with dirt. Oh and the hot dogs at the restaurant Jimmy's in front of it were actually good.

I spent one night here so that I could be close to the airport for an early morning flight. I arrived after 7pm, so parking was tight. It was mid-January, so I guess most of the other people there were on business as well, especially because I saw a lot of work trucks. The price was right. It was the only room I could get in the area so close to the airport and right off the highway for only 10,000 points. My room was on the second floor, so I didn't have to listen to people stomping over my head. It was also facing the main road, but I slept in earplugs, so I didn't hear any of the morning rush hour traffic. The room and common areas were mostly clean and in good repair, and I had everything I needed. The continental breakfast items were eat-in foods (cereal, waffles, etc.), so I couldn't grab anything on my way out. My biggest complaint was that although the heater kept the room very warm with little effort (it was in the 20's by morning with frost covering everything), the heater/air conditioner unit itself was filthy. If it weren't so cold, I wouldn't have used it. I also didn't want to sit in the dusty deteriorating (leather?) chair in the room. I would still stay here again if I just need a place to sleep for the night. EDITED TO ADD: Thanks for the response. The heater/ac unit is overlooked for cleaning practically everywhere I go. Also, I just found the notes I made while I was there, so I have more positives to add. The mattress was triple covered, and the sheets were perfect. The toilet and bathtub were spotless, and the toilet paper was great!
