Eagle Lux Reel nicely manages the types of movies that are shown. There is a pleasant variety of the types of movies that are offered. The theater is extremely clean, including the restrooms. The concession area always has freshly made popcorn, a variety of drinks, including water for those people who are diabetic & are managing the amount of sugar they consume. All in all the Lux Reel Theater is a delightful experience to go view movies. The reclining seats are another enjoyable feature. Comfort means a great deal to contributing to a person's overall enjoyment. To be able to watch a fabulous movie, have a nice selection of eats & drinks, topped off with being able to sit in a marvelously comfortable reclining chair makes the overall experience delightful. Additionally, the temperature in the movie is always comfortably set. It's never too cold nor too warm. Something else needs to be said to compliment the designers of the Lux Reel Theater. This includes not only the interior movie space & how it was decorated, but also there was significant thought dedicated into providing exceptional parking to handle huge amounts of vehicles, including thoughtful provisioning for handicapped spaces that are located close to the front doors for easy access for those people needing assistance to enter the movie. Another critical factor for me is what type of people does the Lux Reel hire to serve & welcome their guests? This is another outstanding aspect about visiting this theater. You hire clean cut, well groomed & extremely pleasant people to serve your customers. Thank you for devoting the correct criteria in hiring your personnel. Every person I've spoken to over the past two years has been polite, helpful & courteous. A friend & I see a movie here once a week. When Top Gun Maverick was playing I went 3 times to this theater to see it. Absolutely fabulous movie! Then so far I've gone to see The Sound of Freedom 2 times & am planning to invite several other friends to join me another 2 times. I sincerely appreciate the attention the staff & management devote into making going to your movies a wonderful...
Read moreFirst time here and not the best experience. Going to the movies is supposed to be about the experience so they have a lot of work to do.
1.) The ticketing process was terrible. They sell tickets online--and charge a fee for purchasing online--but you still have to stand in a long line to have your tickets printed at the ticket purchasing counter. This should be an easy fix, just put a QR code or bar code on the tickets purchased online and place a QR or bar code scanner at the ticket check kiosk.
2.) The inside and outside was filthy. When we were entering the theater trash was blowing past the front door. When we entered, the lobby floor was covered in popcorn--some crushed, some full pieces. Entering our movie was no different, there was crushed popcorn all the way down the hall and up the stairs. I stepped out to use the restroom and saw someone vacuuming so I was optimistic that the lobby would be clean when I got out of our movie. Unfortunately, upon exiting the movie we saw the lobby was still covered in popcorn. At this point it wasn't even a surprise that the trash was still right outside the front door too.
3.) Seats were comfortable. They did an excellent job on the seats. This was certainly the best part of the movie theater. I just hope they can keep the seats clean but I am not optimistic seeing how much they struggle with the floors.
4.) If you're planning dinner and a movie, eat dinner elsewhere. No hot food other than popcorn, hot dogs and nachos. If this theater is really trying to be luxury, they should get better food choices.
I really wanted this to be a great experience because this theater is much closer to us than The Village. At this point we will be returning to The Village for the...
Read moreI purchased 2 tickets on Friday with my card to see the Bobs Burgers movie the next Tuesday. Unfortunately I had to work and was unable to go to the showing.(I tried to call to cancel but couldn’t get ahold of anyone) Then, I went in Wednesday afternoon to ask for a refund. There was only one woman working the concession stand with a line of 15+ customers. After waiting in line for 10 minutes, I provided my name, last name, seats, movie time and my debit card to the lady managing the register. She then told me that she could not find me without a confirmation number or receipt, if I brought it in she can refund me. I ended up walking to the barber shop to screenshot the confirmation number because it was the closest place that had wifi then went back into the theater where I had to wait in line again just to be told I actually could not get a refund with my confirmation number. I was given movie passes to see any movie at any time, so I go in Wednesday night with my date and we were told that we were unable to see the movie we wanted with the movie tickets given to me earlier that day. The reason why I am giving 2 stars is because the theater itself is new, but with the 2 experiences at the Luxe theater I had, I would much rather receive a refund than to go there again and be misinformed. We paid to see Bobs burgers for Tuesday, but with movie vouchers we were unable to watch Bobs burgers. It does not...
