Ok, I just have to give a HUGE shoutout to Fiesta Guadalajara at Eagle and Chinden. We went in tonight to enjoy National Burrito day. It's one of 3 mexican restauants that we frequent in our area. As we were waiting for our check, the waitress came over with $8 and change in cash and explained that when we were there last she had accidently charged us for 5 sodas instead of the 2 that we had ordered. They had a new "system" and somehow she'd made the mistake. This was 2 MONTHS AGO. They had set aside the money and recognized tonight that we were the same couple that they owed the money to. Clearly, we didn't catch it at the time and would have never known, but it was important to them to be honest about it. I, frankly, was dumbfounded that they went to this much trouble for $8 and change. We got out our calendars and my husband looked up the debit charge on his bank app and confirmed that we had, indeed, eaten there that night and were charged the amount in question. They had saved our receipt which had our menu items on it and also told us what booth we'd sat in. We were so shocked we nearly walked out without paying for tonight's dinner 🤭. I just think that kind of honesty by a small business like that deserves mentioning. If you are in the Boise/Eagle Road area, please consider patronizing this...
Read moreI have probably spent easily over 2k on mediocre food at this restaurant over the past couple years. Today, I had to pee super bad. So bad that I had to detour my destination to stop here to use the restroom. The restaurant was completely empty. Sometimes we have those moments where we really need to pee, and the way a restaurant reacts to that says a lot about their management and training.
The waitress came out and smirked at me as she told me flat out no, I can't use their bathroom.
my family and I will NEVER come back.
We'll be going to Casa Mexico down the street from now on. 😊
On the plus side, the Boise Boba tea spot in the area was very inviting and totally didn't care if I used...
Read moreWe were looking for a quality Mexican Restaurant. Much to our disappointment we dint find it at Fiesta Guadalajara. I tried the fajita trio which was supposed to include a shrimp, beef and chicken fajita. It came with 2 shrimp for one fajita in which I protested. The waitress after my insistence agreed to go to the kitchen. She came back after retrieving 2 more tiny shrimp. To add to the the less than satisfying experience; the food had a very bland taste. "Mccormick fajita mix" would of been my first choice if I had to choose between the flavors. Prices were not favorable for the portion size, flavor of the food and customer service. Out...
