Mid State Pool Liners, Inc. — Attraction in East Brunswick Township

I initially requested 3 quotes to replace my pool liner. Before deciding, I checked out the reviews and operations of the contenders. One of the quotes was from a company that looks like a reputable company online, BUT with only one review and based out of an apartment building, there was no way I would deal with a company that has a mailing address as a UPS store. The 2nd was a pool supply place that did not directly do the liners. Of the 3 firms I contacted, Mid State Pool Liners was the only one that sent a representative to look at my pool before providing their proposal. Mid State was not the lowest price, but the fact that they proposed to pump out, save, and replace the water in a day made the price difference worth it for me not having to hassle with pumping out and wasting the water and then refilling the pool with another 24,000 gallons. When I signed the proposal, I felt confident that I would get a quality job that Mid State would stand behind. They sent a crew out to do detailed measurements and scheduled my liner replacement within 2 weeks of my signing their proposal. On game day, the crew showed up 15 minutes early and promptly got to work. I watched the entire process from start to finish and was truly impressed with the no-nonsense, right work ethic of the 5-man crew. From the removal of the old liner, the installation of new foam around the walls, the installation of a new main drain and piping, refinishing of the entire vermiculate surface, and the installation of the new liner, everything went like clockwork. It was apparent that the crew was exceptional, experienced, and qualified to do a quality job. The whole process was done in a day, and everything was totally cleaned up before they left. I have a 20'x40' Grecian pool which is near 30 years old. The liner was torn & pulling away from the coping. I had a significant leak somewhere in the Polaris line under the concrete, and a return jet by the steps that was cracked and attached to piping under the concrete... I got several estimates and eventually went with Mid State only because every issue I had, 'Frank' said, we can handle it, in 1 day.... Hmmmm A crew of 4 showed up on time as scheduled and immediately set up 5 smaller, six thousand gallon pools, with almost as many powerful pumps, to hold my pool water in. The whole crew worked as a unique team, no one was wandering aimlessly. Except for a short lunch, they worked non-stop. The foreman guided me to the area where they believed the leak was, under the concrete, and requested permission to repair. (I was losing 1 inch an hour with Polaris running). I gave them the go ahead... 20 minutes later he is showing me the ruptured line with the flow/leak similar to that of a large horse urinating... Sorry to be so vivid, but it was significant. After about 8 hours, the pool looked brand new! The concrete repair was perfect, and I have no leaks! I must also say, that they 'skim coated' (?) the entire bottom of the pool with vermiculite and this pool has NEVER been soooo smooth. I actually called Mid State's office the next day to commend them. The price was consistent with other installers. 13 years ago, I went with the cheapest estimate for a pool liner and I got what I paid for, the bottom was tough on the feet and only a few years later, the liner stretched out of the coping.. They really were impressive and they know everything...

We can’t say enough great things to encapsulate how amazing and excellent Mid State Pool Liners are! We are so lucky to have found them. We just replaced the liner of our inground pool last summer using a different company. To our dismay, the liner kept coming out of the track. We had to call the previous company to pull the liner back into place several times but it was still never securely in place. When we opened the pool this summer, the liner again was out of the track and we had to once again call the previous company to pull it back into place. We searched for a better solution to the problem. From my first phone conversation with Rob, i was already impressed with his knowledge and professionalism as well as his kindness and courtesy in explaining the benefit of installing a liner lock to secure the liner. He measured the pool and made sure the liner lock would be appropriate for our pool. Luckily , Rob said the liner lock would work and he said they would be able to do it just 2 days later! Will called me with a time the team would be at the house and they arrived exactly when Will said they would be! Sean and his team meticulously and successfully installed the beautiful liner lock! It not only looks great but is keeping the liner secured and perfectly in place! Sean and his team were so courteous and skilled. We could not ask for a better experience!
