This past December, my wife and I recently decided to renovate our Master Bathroom. We tried looking for floor & wall tiles and a vanity together, but had very limited availability to do so caring for my mother-in-law who has advanced dementia. I just happened to find Brunswick Design by chance while driving down Route 18 South, during my lunch break. I met Fatih, one of the co-owners, while browsing through their impressive showroom. He is charming, very knowledgeable and not at all pushy. Frankly, it is impossible not to like him. I told Fatih I wanted to bring my wife to his store, but unfortunately, they were going to be closed that weekend for the holidays. I explained our situation, and he offered to come in special, during his vacation, to accommodate us. Who does that for someone they just met? My wife loved his very friendly personality, his tasteful design skills, and his commitment to help us save money, given our limited budget. He offered us significantly lower prices on floor and wall tiles we had seen elsewhere, and a reasonable price on a customized vanity with a quartz countertop and a matching shower bench and door saddles. He followed through on the entire order process to make sure everything arrived and was installed to our satisfaction. We then decided to order a new toilet from them too. However, the delivery service never showed up. I called the store and spoke to the other co-owner, Oz, who personally drove two hours to Fairlawn and back to pick it up from the distributor's warehouse for me. Now that's impressive service and follow through! We now have our dream Master Bathroom, and made two new good friends in process. If you are looking to design your bathroom or kitchen, and want expert design advice, fair prices, sales integrity, and reliable service, Fatih and Oz will treat you like family, working hard to earn your business today and to maintain it for...
Read moreOnly do it if you are going with your own contractor. We were recommended them by a family friend. That friend actually did the installation themselves so the recommendation was solely based on service. In that department they are great. They helped us pick out and design our kitchen with extreme ease. Once the recommended contractor came into play things went so wrong. They started out great but putting their best foot forward was short lived. Eventually things started to change and instead of fixing problems he would do shoddy work around it. Our house is older so things will have settled. Instead of fixing a floor to make it straight he said “Your floor is crooked so that is why my working crooked”. If we have everything ripped out why not just fix it?? Instead of having every cost included in the price, including a contingency, the contractor nickel and dimed us at every turn. He even had us going to the hardware store looking for supplies he needed. He was so disorganized. He shows up late and one day he didn’t show up at all. We waited for him all day. Then the knobs on our cabinets were installed incorrectly, and the cabinet doors were not balanced. Any concern we voices was met with “I will Dex it. no problem.” But then he would grumble. Mind you we barely said anything and he was ALWAYS paid on time. The last concern I had was capping a drain pipe on the roof. When his employee asked him for me the contractor got so pissed off saying “I TOLD HER I WOULD DO IT.” Well he didn’t do it because a year later the roof is LEAKING RIGHT WHERE THE PIPE IS!!!! It’s so annoying that we pay for a service and receive half of it. We were referred to this contractor by this company. They represent you. It’s such a shame but an annoying and persistent...
Read moreMy wife wrote a review, but I feel I’m entitled to also add any two cents. Simply for the utter disrespect and lack of customer service by the owner. My wife who never complains came home visibly upset and shaken. She explained oz the owner was very rude and dismissive to her. That one of the employees gave her a free measurement (which she did not know was supposed cost money). And he kept throwing in her face that it should’ve cost money but it didn’t (as he mentioned in his reply to her review) . We would have paid him the money, no issue on our part. I told my wife I would return the sample and explained to her “if he is this rude now imagine how he would treat us after he gets our money”. When I stepped in his store he had a sleazy sarcastic smile on his face. Then he asks me to talk “man to man”. As if my wife is behaving like a typical irrational woman and we can resolve this like “real Men”. He continued to insult her, instituting that her questions was beneath his superior time. I simply told him we will take our business else where and I left very upset. He tried to say we insulted his employees. We did not, he actually talked badly about his employees and mentioned he had fired one of them (very unprofessional and lack of consideration for his former employee). Who by the way had great customer service. We have no other intention but to simply warn others before they experience same horrible customer service. We are now working with another kitchens place in East Brunswick and its...
