Our first experience at the park was a few months ago when we took our kids for a test run. On entering the place was chaos. The whole check in process took almost 45 minutes. Right there we should have seen the red flags and not chose this place to do a birthday party but, it was very clean, staff were nice, helpful and most importantly we had fun, so we decided to book the party with them.
We had to book online and put down a $500 deposit for the party. AFTER the deposit was paid I received an email, that admittedly, I didn’t fully read, stating that outside food was not allowed, you may bring your own inflated balloons for a fee of $5.00 and paper goods and/or decorations for a fee of $10.00. This email also included that the deposit I already paid was NON REFUNDABLE!
I booked the party on 2/27/22, on 3/22/22 a Party/event coordinator reached out and forwarded a menu, after talking with her on the phone I told her I wasn’t crazy about the menu for the adults and asked when she would need to know if we were ordering off of this menu by and she said about a week in advance. I admit I should have read the confirmation email fully, but at no point was it made clear during that conversation that outside food was prohibited. I ended up ordering food and made her aware of this, at that point she told me about this policy. I told her that I had people with kosher food requirements and told her In great detail exactly what was ordered and agreed to pay the fee for the food since I didn’t read the email. I notified her of the balloons I was planning on bringing and she said that would be fine as well. I was told to come an hour before to check in and help the host set up the room.
On the day of the party we arrived 40 minutes before the party and were told we were too early and the room was not ready. I was very confused but waited. Once in the room and in the process of setting up, Meredith, entered the room and proceeded to VERY rudely IN FRONT OF MY CHILD tell me was I was too early for the party and told me I would be charged a fee for being early. I told her the party coordinator instructed me to come this early to which she said she was sure that I was not told that. I asked her to call her because that was what I was told and she was not interested in deescalating, it seemed like all she wanted was a fight. She then stated that I was only approved for one balloon centerpiece and would be charged a fee for that, I again tried to tell her that I had informed the party coordinator of everything ahead of time and everything was approved, she again basically told me I was lying and was extremely rude. I could feel myself starting to get upset which was the last thing I wanted to be on my babies birthday so I told her I would pay whatever fees and wasn’t willing to discuss this any further in front of my 4 year old child!
Later on when the food arrived both Meredith and Robert rushed into our party room and very aggressively approached me stating that the food was more than was approved and that it was not kosher, they were so inappropriate, rude, demeaning and disrespectful in front of my kids and party guests. They told me that they would not permit the driver to bring any more food in and we would have to go and get it. I told them that was fine and asked them to leave the room as it was not the place to discuss any issue. They should have asked me to come outside and talk to them elsewhere, not in front of MY KIDS and guests. I was flabbergasted that I was being spoken to in that manner. All they seemed to want to do was argue and charge fees, they had no compassion or professionalism, they certainly were not acting like managers. If the CEO and VP behave like this imaging the mind set they are instilling on their team that is front and center with YOUR kids! I witnessed a staff member fill out yell at a group of 2-4 year olds, who were not in immediate danger and whose parents were right there. Just so disappointing. Bring your business to Urban Air where you don’t have to pay extra to...
Read moreI dont normally write negative reviews but i am Extremely disappointed in hosting a premium party here. 12 kids, plus food, and some add ons (laser tag for example) was $1300! I am good with the money if the experience is worth it, but this certainly wasn’t the case:
1.The party check in took 30 mins! Everyone was just crammed right in the front area, no flow, lines, or anything. Chaos upon entry!
2.There was no flow to the party at all. The coordinator disappeared often, we weren’t guided on what to do next. I ended up struggling to keep all the kids in the party together while my wife was setting up the room with the moms who stayed because the staff didnt have a clue.
3.the kids didnt get to do more than half of the attractions!!! They all complained we didnt get to do: The ninja course, The wipe out game, the warped wall, the interactive video jumping games, the trapeze swing. It took 15 mins to suit up with the harnesses for climbing activities and thats all they had time to do (besides the laser tag which was immediately)
4.When we were in the party room, my wife set everything up as it wasnt ready for us. The food didnt come on time and they “forgot” the add ons we ordered on Thursday (thats another negative for later) then when everything did come, we were RUSHED to eat quickly, sing happy birthday and then get out because we have another party.
5.trying to order food in advance: we were told to speak to Jim to coordinate everything. Well for 2 weeks or longer, leading up to the event my wife calls, messaged, and did everything except drive there in person, to try and order stuff in advance as you’re not allowed to bring in outside food/decorations. It was 3 days before the event when I called, sternly, and asked to make the order then threatened to reverse charges on my credit card and cancel before we actually got to speak to Jim to order the additional items.
6.Someone got hurt. On the climbing walls they need instruction on how to climb and rappel down properly. The staff did offer ice and tried to help though. I saw alot of this type of stuff happening and I am genuinely concerned for them going forward.
7.WAY TOO CROWDED!!! They desperately need open play hours and close the place to the public when you have parties. It was impossible to keep all the kids in our party together because it was just a massive free for all. This I would say was probably the biggest issue of them all, making lines too long and not allowing the kids in the party to get to experience everything as they should have with this package we chose.
8.We didnt get everything included in the package!!!
All in all, we came because a family friend recommended it to us. We know its less than 3 months old, but after sleeping on it (party was yesterday) I had to say something because I feel cheated. This was a horrible experience. I feel for the party coordinator as she I do feel tried but there was just too much happening and she was frazzled! The only positives are I was able to get some pictures of the kids climbing and my daughter smiled. But if I knew I had to WORK the party myself and deal with all the above, I would NOT have come!

Read moreThe majority of children love this place, including my kids. However, I’ll be writing this review from the perspective of an adult parent. First, the cost: It’s pricey, no lie, especially with kids that want to do zip lining with the Adventure Pass at roughly $40 (including the $3 pair of socks) per child, plus tax, for a 2-hour experience. Another thing is that sneakers can either be stored under the benches with little cubbies or in paid lockers. I chose the paid lockers, since it seemed less likely for the shoes to be lost or stolen, however the payment kiosk was a bit sketchy, IMO. First, you need to make a passcode. Then, you have two options: Cash or card. I initially chose the cash payment at $3 for 3 hours and it didn’t state until payment that it wouldn’t give change back, so if you don’t have the exact $3 to cough up, it won’t return the rest of your money if you were to use bigger bills. So, then I had to cancel and start from the beginning at the kiosk and chose card and it unfortunately had an issue reading the chip of my new card (which ended up working perfectly fine at Sarku Japan just across the lot!) and, because the machine was too close to the kiosk screen, it made manually swiping my card impossible. I ended up using another card, but still found the experience frustrating. Once payment was approved, a random locker opened and you could put your shoes inside. However, no receipt printed out for the transaction, so definitely remember your details & take pics of which locker your stuff is in. Another thing is no outside food and drinks are allowed—fair enough, I understand that, but their icees were expensive—$5+ with tax for the smallest cup. My son wanted a small 10oz Tropicana Apple Juice bottle & a 16.9 oz bottle of Poland spring water, too, since he was thirsty & sweating beads from the activities. Including the icees, it cost roughly $15. Again, no receipt was given, but I wasn’t about to make a stink over it. I was over this place haha 😑
Another thing is they had some areas with seating, but not for every area that kids will play in. I stood most of the time, taking turns following both of my kids to their respective play area, which got chaotic since it was the weekend and it was obviously packed. There were also birthday parties going on as well. However, if you try to light a candle for a b-day (cup)cake in the general cafeteria area (like one parent tried to do for his son), you will be told to put out the candle, since it’s not allowed and with good reason.
I also want to add the suggestion of bringing in a hoodie or light jacket for yourself. Don’t be deceived by the weather outside in the spring and summer—the place can become chilly due to them keeping the place cool for the active kids. I didn’t and was relieved to finally be outside. But I was also relieved to be away from all the shouting...
