Genesis Beauty Supply is a very nice place you can quickly get to right off of Church Lane turn to Baltimore Avenue just before the SEPTA train bridge. SEPTA buses 68 and 108 can drop you off before the bridge where Rite Aid use to be when coming from 69th Street (turns into Church Lane). Be careful & look both ways as you cross the street where Wine & Spirits is & Sunny Pharmacy is cause it is very busy. Not so far from B&B (Breakfast & Brisket). It's across the street from Baltimore Plaza. On Wildwood Avenue you will see the store sign that on the side of New Dollar Star & Plus; LLC store (right nextdoor to it). Today I walked in & received wonderful gifts. My daughter loved her gift of 2 boxes of knot free lashes. We are going to share & take turns wearing the ring. We love it! It reminds me of my grandmother Elizabeth. I have enjoy my purchases & I'm going to share about your soap & moisturizer & everything on the nextdoor app as well. I had took some pictures & videos in the past & will share this link on Google Maps to them as well. Have blessed & stay safe though. I love this place. That's why I keep coming back cause people care about their customers. Send it forward towards loyal customers....
Read moreDon't support this business. Especially if you're AA. They're overpriced, rude, Discriminate & sterotype their customers & could care less about their customers happiness. I went there to purchase my favorite concealer & a bottle of clear glossy nail polish, the lady who works there ( Wearing Islamic garbs) followed me around as if she suspected me of stealing. She had an aggressive attitude when I picked up any products to get a closer look. She started yelling down the aisle at me saying I couldn't open a bottle of clear nail polish & I have to buy it since I opened the bottle. Very nasty customer service. This isn't my first time going to this business but this will be my last. When I complained to the owner this same rude lady barged into the conversation so I put her in her place since the owner has no control control of his rude employee. We need more Black businesses in our own neighborhoods we need to support each other so that we aren't stereotyped or subjected to this formnof teeatment where we spend our hard...
Read moreGood evening Google family. I visited the Genesis Beauty Supply for the first time today. I met the owner and CEO, Mr. Job Boateng, just like the Job in the Bible. Bought fine products, a scalp massager and some miracle drops for my hair. $4.99 and $19.99 respectfully. Genesis is a beautiful store, well kept and all products are beautifully arranged. The store is wonderfully lighted. Job and I had a beautiful conversation about God and his purpose, we are here to serve and glorify Father God. Job allowed me to make a video, I love making videos. I look forward to more videos and collaborative efforts. Also parking is available around the store, it's street parking with meters. I ended up feeding the meter since I was there so long, about 2 hours. But it was a productive 2 hours with me meeting a new friend. A great experience on Wednesday, Hump Day, May 28, 2025. Workout, be healthy, fit and Fabulous especially people over 50. Have a great night...
