Elevé Dance Theater — Attraction in East Stroudsburg

Ms. Deidre Sears and Elevé Dance Theater have been a godsend! After having several traumatic dance lessons at a different studio when she was three, my daughter (who has been dancing since before she could crawl!) was completely turned off from taking dance lessons. She wanted to wait a year and then the pandemic hit! When we were finally ready to sign her up for dance lessons again, I was thrilled to learn about Elevé Dance Theater, owned and operated by a Black woman! Ms. Deidre has far exceeded my already high expectations. The way she teaches, motivates, inspires, and cares about our children is priceless. Deidre is a very talented, caring and patient teacher. She wants what's best for her students and she pushes them to do their best and beyond. She is able to relate to all her students making it comfortable for her students to open up and enjoy being in the studio. She offers many opportunities for her students to grow and showcase their talents. My son has been dancing at Elevé for years and still enjoys it as much as he has back on his first day. We moved to PA in the middle of the pandemic and needed a dance home for my daughter. We visited several dance studios looking for a studio that actually taught technique.
