Happy Garden — Restaurant in East Stroudsburg

First and last time I try this place, the food was horrible and got thrown away! This place was recommended and I saw how good the reviews were and when I ordered I know it was before closing but the food was horrible!! No taste the boneless was hard as a rock. The white rice was cold! The beef and broccoli well let's just. Say you couldn't even chew the beef it was like a rubber band... and I ordered the. Shrimp with a bunch of vegetables it was supposed to be and it wasn't it was a whole bunch of cabbage and the shrimp smelt fishy and they used the tiny tiny shrimp the one thing that was good that was my daughters was the fried dumpling that's the one thing that didn't get thrown out I would never order from this location again!! and I've called and the women acts like she don't understand me when I told her about the food from the night before.. so that's why they are getting this review!! $25.00...

First time ordering here and it wasn’t what I expected after reading the other reviews. I ordered the walnut chicken. First it’s cash only or they do take cashapp and Zelle. When I opened the food I was hesitant because I didn’t realize the chicken has a different batter than most places. However as I started eating the chicken i realized that i literally had maybe a solid 3 or 4 spoonfuls of rice. On top of that there’s large chunks of onions taking up the bottom half of the rice. I’m very surprised at the number of very positive comments shared about this place. The first time I had it I loved the chicken & mushrooms but the next two times I ordered it, it was bland and the chicken was weird. The General Tso’s chicken was overdone and hard to chew though the heat was good. Vegetable lo mein was very oily and not a lot of vegetables. The wonton soup broth was a bit watered down.
