My initial experience as I walked in more organized and friendly. It took awhile for me to find the right color and everyone who helped me were nothing but friendly. The day before I booked the appointment and despite taking so long to pick a color, I never once felt rushed.
Salon life is new to me. Only once a year I treat myself to getting the nail spa package. I'm not from here and don't have anyone to come with me on experiences like this. My only complaint about this is some of the judgements towards me for being alone and open to chatting and sharing. They seem to not realize not everyone comes from their world.
My apologies to the lady who worked on me because I forgot her name. She was friendly, didn't mind trying to have a conversation with me despite our language barriers. We talked almost the entire time.
There are only two complaints I have:
She didn't do enough layers on my finger nails and I could see streaks and parts of my nail. Probably needed only one more coat.
My neon yellow turned into a banana like color when I spent time outside. You can see where the top coating dulls the color underneath.
Clearly both of those fall on the salon. My problem is why didnt she notice the streaks? And what top coat did she use on my nails? Spending $90 is a lot for not having your fingernails unfinished.

Read moreI walked in at 940 and didn't leave until 1130. I sat for 20 minutes waiting for another staff member to arrive...even though I was the first one in for the day! They staff member there didn't help someone else get a gift card and kept telling us "5 minutes". Well 5 turned into 20. When someone finally showed up, he took 10 min to remove polish off 2 nails, then had someone new take over! It took the new guy an hour to put on my nails, and another 30 to paint. When I told him I needed to leave for work soon, and asked him how much longer he thought, I was told 15 minutes. Well that turned into 30 minutes. Then he got upset when I said I couldn't stick around for the lotion massage (which I was looking forward to) because I needed to leave for work and didn't expect it to be a 2 hour long ordeal! I was told "then wash your hands and leave". Not only that but he filed my skin down so much that I bled, and it hurt. He keep wiping away the blood like he was confused about why it happened...then continued to file down some more. I expect some "discomfort" after having acrylics put on with the filing, but not so much that it hurts to type and that I bled! Won't be going back. Don't...
Read moreMy feet are really messed up from being squeezed into narrow toe box soccer shoes and having my toes stepped on and fractured with the attendant arthritis. One of my toe nails is too thick and hard for me to sand, cut or chop, so it is a constant pain. My family were going for pedicures, and they suggested my going. After the reflexive, "No, not me," I went and it was almost miraculous. The chairs are very comfortable, with a great mechanical, rolling massage, and the hot water soak really helped. Lan, my pedicurist, really used all her tools, very carefully and diligently to solve the problem on my big toe and on all the others. I got a thorough sanding down of my hardened heel callouses, and a combination of acupressure and meridional massage on my soles. I honestly never had much feeling in my feet before. Guys, I would really recommend giving this a try. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the whole operation. It is a bit spendy, but with the total experience, especially having the right pedicurist, it is worth...
