Sandcastle Billiards — Attraction in Edison

For years a buddy of mine and I have been coming to the sandcastle and we’ve never had an issue until now. Over the years we’ve gotten to known Ed (the owner) Tom, and many others, but today was different. After we paid for our time we decided to play some palace (cards)as we normally do, so we grabbed a couple of chairs and begin playing. After a few hands Tom shouts “hey this is a pool hall put those chairs back!” To our surprise we say “ok, you good?” Our party of 4 wrap up our game and decide to head out to avoid a confrontation. Tom then says “oh so you’re going to leave the chairs like that?” Meanwhile everything was put back into place. I’m not sure if Tom was having a bad day, but that attitude was uncalled for. We’ve had drinks with Ed, we’ve always shared pizza with Tom and a couple of the other guys behind the counter, however that was crossing a line. I really hope Ed sees this, but it’s a shame that he’s lost 2...

Eddie Liddawi, Owner and the entire Sandcastle Crew are simply awesome! In addition, they fully understand that a customer is the most important vistor on the premises. Moreover, they understand that the guests are not dependent on them but rather they are dependent on the guests. In short, they make you feel extremely welcomed like a guest in their home! Eddie and his crew understand that the guests are not an interruption in their work and that they are the purpose of it. Furthermore, they are aware that the guests are not outsiders in their business; they are a part of it. Most importantly, he and the Sandcastle Crew understand that they are not doing the guests a favor by serving them but rather the guests are doing them a favor by giving he and his crew an opportunity to do so. Well, let me start by how I found this place. On a Friday afternoon I wanted to play some pool, now all of my friends were working so I was going to go by myself. So, originally, I was going to go to Q zone billiards, as I walked in and asked for a table the guy asked me how many pp, I said only me and the guy said no, sorry only minimum of 2 for weekends.. I was ready to buy a cue and everything from him, but after I heard that, I was like.. ef it.. and went to Sandcastle.
