Perdido Key Beach — Attraction in Elberta

This would be five stars if it weren't for all the jelly fish stings. And that, honestly, was due to a hurricane that passed through before we arrived that pushed many of them inland. The girls had a blast. We spent several days coming back even after getting stung. It's fun to see the pilots practicing their fly overs from Fort McRee. My suggestion is to park and then walk past the resort to where fewer people are. Unless you like crowds....

This beach was great! We decided to stop here on road trip from Texas to Nee Orleans. We have hit up a lot of beaches! Alabama public beaches we visited you had to pay to go to. It was nice to drive up and hit the sand without a gate keeper. This beach was clean and a short walk from the provided parking. I spent a week here for vacation with my sister in August and it was the most relaxing time I've had in a long time. I needed it. This place gave me a peace I couldn't get in the city. Clean and not crowded. Beautiful white sands and refreshing....
