Trout Park — Attraction in Elgin

So upsetting to see the park equipment minimized to 1/3 it's size. Why???... The park was fine. Now it's worse. Wayyy worse. Soo small. Only one slide area. All smooshed together. U should see 6-8 kids trying to go up it. It's ridiculous. No room for them. Only one play area. What a disappointment. I expected more from u Elgin. No room for the kids to run n play. No swings for the big kids/teens n....really no baby swings or toddler area. U guys took out all 8 swings we used to have. Used to love swinging n looking up at the big trees. Really sad to see the new park area. Sooo small for such a large park. I was excited when they first started to work on it but omg who cheaped out...Can we get the rest of the equipment set up. Sorry not sorry. Been comin to this park since the Fire truck was there. Back in the 80s...now I'm takin my kid. Love the park just disappointed...to see it changed to something soo small when sooo many people go there. Plus no garbage cans n most of the benches are all on one side...

Never been here but where is the right fielder in this overhead satellite pic?? Everyone is in their positions. There is not a 5th infielder. Batter is near batters box. Pitcher in on mound. The infield umpire in normal position - you would not align a 5th infielder like that. There clearly is men on 2nd and 3rd. Base coaches accounted for. Man on deck present. I don't see anyone making their way to or from the dugout. What is happening here?? This is clearly an organized game. If they were short, center fielder would not be playing straight away. This is a baseball field located in Elgin Illinois, right near I90. This is a bigger field. I would rate the field as outstanding. Field conditions are excellent. Dougouts are great. Has the look and feel of a really outstanding ball park. I only have one complaint. The pitchers mound is made of a concrete base with dirt in top. They didnt put enough dirt down and it created a crevice in the mound where your spikes would scrape the concrete and get stuck in the crevice. When my son was done pitching his foot was bleeding from this. However this would be an easy fix. I highly...
