I really wanted to like this place as my parents bring their dogs here and they always looks so cute! Let me start by saying my 2 pups look adorable with their cuts, so thank you to the actual groomer. Beside that, the communication here wasn’t pleasant. I called and scheduled my appointment 2 weeks in advance and it was very easy to do so. A few days before I received a text to confirm my appointment, which I did. The day of, on my commute from Brooklyn NY to their location in Jersey I received a phone from the reception confirming my appointment, again. I found it a little weird but appreciated the thoroughness. When I got there they took one of my dogs straight to the back while I held the other, no explanation where they took him when I hadn’t even explain what I wanted done. I filled out my contact info, was NEVER asked for vaccination records, showed the receptionist an image of the style I wanted, and when getting to leave I asked how long it would take which she stated 2/3 hours. Longer than any groomer I’ve went to but I had to run errands anyway so it was fine. My appointment was at 12, at 2 I called to check the progress before running any other errands that may have taken longer than their pick up. She stated they had just gotten out of a bath. 2 hours later my dogs had JUST taken a bath? What were my dogs doing the entire time? That didn’t sit well with me. She then stated it would be a total of 3/4 hours OR more. My dogs weigh 4 and 9LBS. what could possibly take more than 4 hours? AT 4 I called again and reception let me know one dog was done and one was just beginning. WHAT? i didn’t get called until 5PM. when i got to the shop and questioned the time frame, the response I got was “you need to understand we’re not machines” THEN they charge me, I’m waiting to tip and sign and when I receive a receipt and ask how do I tip, she mentions I needed to let them know how much I wanted to give before they charge me. THANKS FOR LETTING NE KNOW BEFORE. If you’re ok with not knowing what your pets are doing for hours while they wait and deal with rude customer service, come here. Otherwise find...
Read moreI am extremely upset. Let me start by saying I do not want to come off as a "Karen" okay. I have tried all possible passive ways to solve this problem but I'm about done with this so here's my review. I took my cat here as an emergency glue removal and saw that this place had what seemed to be good reviews for the exception of 1 that said they thought they say the groomer get physical with the animal. Never the less I ignored it( bad call) so my boyfriend took her into the appointment at 3:00 and we got her back with her nails cut extremely short BLEEDING and her whiskers on one side cut!! So we took her to the vet and they said that she had ripped nails because she did have some nail caps on before the appointment ( this was also mentioned to them during the appointment call) and they were cut off so her nails were raw and cut past the little vain in their. Her whiskers were causing her a lot of behavior problems and on top of that she caught and upper respiratory infection from this place. We have tried to reach out multiple times in multiple ways. To find a resolution but it seems that we can't get a proper responses. All we were asking for at first was to get our money back for the service it's self because it was more of a disservice. Now I am demanding my money back on top of the vet bill. We are extremely upset about this. We have called this place and nothing, we have texted what we were told was the owner nothing, and we have written them a letter stating all of what I just said but in more depth with the receipts and vet bill with the vets diagnosis. AND STILL NOTHING. Listen this is unacceptable and they have caused damage to my one year old cat. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. And I want my...
Read moreCame in today for a 12pm appointment. Person in the front had no idea my dog was coming in for grooming. That person looked completely disorganized and unprepared. Red flag #1. The front person goes to the back and speaks to the groomer. Comes back to the front and begins to tell me the prices have increased since our last visit (just got my dog groomed from here in February). Red flag #2. Isn’t a price increase something you should’ve disclosed upon making the appointment? Just a thought. Anyways, they begin to tell me the price to groom my dog has doubled since my last visit. Somehow the math isn’t mathing here. There seems to be no set price for specific breeds/sizes and the prices vary each time I visit. They have also unsuccessfully been able to trim my dog’s nails which should be included when you ask to get your dog fully groomed. Will not be coming back here as I don’t feel comfortable bringing my boy here. I would suggest...
