Harvest Bible Church of Elizabeth — Attraction in Elizabeth

Before coming to Harvest my family lived for 7 years in Vietnam. The last 4 years in Vietnam we loved every Sunday going to church. We thought that was a moment in time that could not be replicated. Over the the last three years we have weekly looked forward to going to church. Greg Hunter is excellent at leading worship. The number of men taking leadership responsibilities is impressive. Kyle Taylor lights up the place at kids time. The Elders truly Shepherd the Harvest family. It is a joy to be a part of such a wonderful church. Harvest is a Jesus loving church. It is rare to have such seasons in life....

We had been looking for a church to attend after a traumatic incident happened to some of our young children and we wanted to close ranks and heal together as a family. We attended for 2 Sunday mornings when we received a call from home from the head pastor wanting to meet with us. We met with him only for him to tell us to stop coming to "his" church. Why? Because he found out about the traumatic incident and didn't want our children in "his" church anymore. He specifically told us to find a bigger church "where we wouldn't be missed". Poor...

This church shows that they do not love God by their actions, they've recently been banning some of their own members, including the woman who started the church itself! Which is sickening. After going there I did not feel welcome, and the people weren't inviting or loving to me. The experience I had there left me never wanting to return, and I would never recommend...
