The Tea Spoon — Restaurant in Elizabeth

People come from all over to this local favorite to enjoy their lovely dining experience. I'd recommend calling to get a reservation at least a day in advance if you want to enjoy High Tea. We were just there today to celebrate my sister's birthday and the owner and chef, Christine, exceeded our expectations. We were seated in our own little tea room, at a lavish tablecloth setting, served our own pot of tea, and started out with a beautiful salad. Then Christine brought out scones with lemon curd, Irish cream and jelly; chicken salad sandwiches, a delicious ham-turkey-and-cheese french toast sandwich, quiche, gourmet cheese filled mushroom bites, and chocolate chip cookies!
