I dont speak barista so I don't know what a mappa frappa choco latte is. We just wanted a regular cup of coffee. They asked my wife if she wanted cream, she said yes and the server walked to a cooler and just poured some in. I don't know how they know how much you want. I ordered mine and asked if I could put my own creamer in it. The guy said "Sure!" with a big smile and handed me a half gallon carton. I asked for a napkin and was told my wife got the last one. The girl at the counter picked one up and said, "This one is dirty but you can have it." Yikes. I told her there was a spill at the prep table and she went to the bathroom and brought back 3 squares of toilet paper! Double yikes. I'm pretty sure you can't account for the food grade sanitation of a roll of toilet paper on the wall next to a toilet. I didn't see any prices posted for anything and I never got a receipt so I don't know what our items cost individually but I paid $12 for two small coffees and a muffin. I know people like to spend $5 on a cup so some of you won't find this surprising but it was shocking to me. I don't see any compelling reason to...
Read moreMy fiance and I came here for a nice treat in Valentines day. We had just moved here and have actually been wanting to try it for over a month.
The atmosphere was very nice, and the communication was good. However, the quiche we ordered was absolutely rancid; I couldn't believe she got that in to the box without noticing how far gone it was. As soon as we opened it at home we immediately had to bag it and throw it outside (where it continued to make our garbage can smell).
We were super let down since we were hoping for this to be a regular spot for us in our new town. I just cant believe those were still in that display cabinet.
I also got the breakfast burrito, it wasn't spoiled, thank goodness, but get a meat other than brisket if you get one, most of the brisket was...
Read moreWe were in Elizabeth at a softball tournament. Had a break between games. Thought we would try this quaint coffee shop. To our absolute surprise the breakfast burrito with green chili was really one of the best we’ve ever tasted. As we were waiting for them to cook, the owner said we have the best BLTs in 500 miles, come back for lunch. Instead I ordered one to go. I’m really not a fan of BLTs but it truly was the best BLT I’ve ever tasted. So next time you are in or around Elizabeth, Colorado it’s definitely worth stopping at Isabels coffee shop. Looks to be family-owned. Staff couldn’t be any friendlier, place is very clean. And the patrons we saw in there we’re treated like family all sitting around tables chatting. A...
