Del Meyer Park — Attraction in Elk Grove

My wife and I walk this trail several times a week. The wildlife is always a pleasant focal point to the daily trips. Keep an eye out for turtles during the warmer days, and sometimes, if you're lucky, you may see an otter! The birds, especially during this time of year are phenomenal! It's a nice trail. Leads to a bridge with a park on the other side. You can park in this parking lot the map takes you to and cross Elk Grove Florin to continue further. Otherwise, the bridge is a little over a mile away. Nice for families, break away from the world, or just a nice bit of fresh air. Short, paved, and easy trail, intimate any time of day. Catch a moonrise there if you can someday.....Nice to see families, singles and lovers out enjoying nature.
