Exceptional Service at Starbucks on Bond/Elk Grove-Florin!
I am blown away by the outstanding service I consistently receive at the Starbucks at 8868 Bond Rd, Suite #100. The team is truly exceptional, and I want to highlight the remarkable individuals who make this location shine! See Yelp for my full review including more kudos to specific team members.
Jevonda and Katrina: Above and Beyond
These two barista stars in particular consistently go above and beyond to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Very warm smiles, attentive listening, and proactive problem-solving skills make every visit a delight. My favorite part to these ladies is the fact that they treat you like a neighbor...asking how you are (not just me but every customer they encounter). As well as offer new drink suggestions. I sat and observed for 2 months while my car was down and had the time to stay awhile. (times between the hours of 9:30am-4pm Mon-Fri)
Great Ambiance
When I am in the mood to sit and listen to music, this location provides a relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for any time of day. From classic 50's tunes to modern mixes, the mix or radio is always on point. There has NEVER been a line, not more than 2 customers at the counter any time I was there, but if you're in a hurry order ahead. The longest I have had to wait that way is 8 minutes (realistically). They have a few comfy leather chairs and offer nice ceramic mugs to sip from too, just ask "for here cup". See the picture I posted on Yelp for a very yummy Dulce De Leche a Starbuck's barista had made for me at this location.
Areas for improvement This part is more a Starbuck's the company, not this specific location or staff related... but a wishful thinking section. It would be nice if Starbuck's offered more sugar-free flavors and more food options that are low carb and zero sugar for those with special diets. Also, the codes on the bathroom doors is absolutely ridiculous! lol I might have even been more understanding if it was still changed once every so often, but every day?? It's a lot for a customer and staff member to have to continuously ask/give a code if you visit often and stay a while. This area is not even filled with people that take advantage of bathroom use without purchasing. Sheesh!
Conclusion: It is easy to write a review based on a quick 5 minute coffee pick up but I feel my input is valuable for the reason that I have had plenty of time to observe, capture detailed and accurate information on this location to relay back to the public (an educated decision and input). Every employee that works at this location is a hard worker, I apologize for those that I did not catch your name in the 2 strait months I visited but had someone stood out as being not so great, I would have surely found out what their name was, not the case. Everyone is great! Major fast hustle, very hard workers, quick and efficient!
In short, this Starbucks location is a testament to the power of exceptional customer service, which many businesses lack these days. Every team member is dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming, and efficient experience that keeps customers coming back. If you haven't visited this location yet, do yourself a favor and stop by - you won't be disappointed!

Will I return? Absolutely! ...and I recommend anyone else to as well. Especially if you are not nit-picky uppity type that complains about everything including if a business runs out of a certain product or ingredient due to all the people stopping by and sippin' it all up. I get grouchy as well when I haven't gotten my coffee yet, but don't take it out on the baristas in a public review. They are working their butts off! Job...
Read moreThis location always gives me the worst time. Whether it be drive through, mobile or ordering in person. My drink and customizations are always wrong and I have to ask for the drink to be corrected, most of the time they barely warm up the sandwich and it’s still cold given to me. Today for example my drink was made completely wrong and the barista thought she was being smart by putting my drink to the side and handing it back to me as if it was corrected when I literally seen her just move it out of sight and put it back on the bar. I ordered a vanilla cold foam vanilla latte and she gave me a pumpkin spice/pumpkin cold foam latte drink. So it’s obv by color it’s wrong and by smell of the pumpkin. I asked again to get it corrected and she did the same thing. And my friend was with me and she seen them do this to me. I ended up taking my drink to the register and explained what they did and he told me to toss the drink and I gave him the label from my cup with clear customizations to get the drink remade. I've never been to a Starbucks where everyone working there is rude and acts as if the customer is bothering them for letting them know that the wrong order was given. Never one time did I get an apology for them giving me the completely wrong order. I was glared at by the staff and watched three different workers roll their eyes at me when I asked for my order to be corrected. The burnt coffee at this Starbucks is no longer worth paying money for. I deleted my Starbucks app immediately and will now be taking my business down the street to Pete's coffee or Dutch Bros. The manger at this store should really be doing a better job at making sure their workers terrible attitudes are kept in check. Shame on the so called "Manager" of this store. The Bond Road location really should be shut down in the next round of Starbucks going out business...
