See's Candies — Attraction in Elk Grove

I don't know if I should admit this... But I am a Sees Candy fanatic. I'm a middle aged lady and I've been eating it since I was a child. I've been in a LOT of Sees locations and this Elk Grove location is my FAVORITE. It's small, but they have EVERYTHING I need. The service is OUTSTANDING. All of the clerks are friendly and patient . Natalie and Barbara are customer service queens. I had a DRY experience at the Sees in Delta Shores and I haven't shopped there since. Shopping at Sees is not just about the best candy in the universe, it's about the "experience" you have in the shop. I'm not gonna really talk about the excellent quality of the candy. I hope you are already are aware of the unbelivably smooth chocolate and fresh ingredients they use. Please do not compare Whitmans or Russell Stover to Sees. That would be like comparing a McDonald's cheeseburger to prime rib. Sees is worth EVERY penny you spend and pimple and pound...

I’m not generally one to leave negative comments, but I left the store frustrated today. I walked into an empty store and made it clear to the staff member I was there during my lunch break. Then waltzed in another woman, who took her sweet time ordering one candy at a time at the counter while I waited to check-out the whole time. Then, the staff member asked me to step aside while she checked the other woman out. I was there first and had been done shopping since the other woman walked in and then I had ti wait until she was checked out first, while being clocked out on my timed lunch. The other woman was very clearly old enough to be retired, while not being elderly. Not good customer service for me. She had...

Would give them zero stars if I could. Showed up earlier tonight to be told to go outside because they reached capacity and was told to wait until people left. Meanwhile there were no signs indicating a limit. A couple left 5 mins later and when I tried to go inside again I was still told to wait until it cleared out more. The tone the associate used was enough for me to take my money elsewhere. This is the poorest customer service I've ever received at a See's Candies location. Turned around and went to the Delta Shores location where they had much better customer service and ending up spending $100. I will never come to this location on...
