Minhaj ul Quran Al-Noor Islamic Center — Attraction in Ellington

Great place. Very nice building, and the Imam is fantastic. I'm taking a world religions class where one of the requirements is to make a visit to any faith community of our choosing outside of our comfort zone. I visited Al-Noor Islamic Center today (8 May 2013) to speak to the Imam about about Islam, and he was extremely friendly and courteous. He even offered me food.

We had a nice chat for almost an hour and a half, and the entire time I could tell he was very sincere and dedicated to being a good person and teaching others to be good people as well.
