The Goss Opera House — Attraction in Elmira Township

Well I went there 3 times. The first time, I went with my two dietitian friends for lunch. Two of us picked the turkey cranberry sandwich. When we got it, we couldn't eat it. When we asked what was on the sandwich, the server told us it was cranberry horseradish. Nothing a customer would expect. Nothing was offered when we commented about the poor flavor and no notation on the menu about the horseradish. The second time, my husband and I went. The food was cold and not much flavor. The 3rd time, I went with 5 of my friends. We all worked in healthcare. We ordered sandwiches with a salad the server said was an option. When our sandwiches were served, we all had fries. The server then said they didn't have that salad that day. She never let us know that before we were served. When our food arrived, an alarm went off. We didn't know if it was a smoke alarm. They got it shut off. But it went off 2 more times. For several minutes. We heard, "where is he"? They were working on something but it obviously wasn't working. After the third time, they offered us a mini muffin for our inconvenience. None of us took a muffin. My friends and I meet for lunch once a month. Good Prime Rib, little pricey wouldn't say it was the best I have had and I have had a lot of Prime Rib Steaks in my life, would say it was a close tie for first but price put it out of the running and the fact that the other place I'm thinking about had a piece of Prime that was on a bigger oval shape plate and still would overlap the plate on all sides also came with salad bar, your choice of potato and a mini loaf of bread and butter. If you got the baked potato it came with a side of butter and sourcream with chives and price is lower. and it tasted...

Updates to the building are astonishingly beautiful. The sound and lights are vastly improved and everything sounds great.

The only real issue I had was the wait for the bar. Their seemed to be a bit of confusion with the POS but that will get better with time.

I'm excited to try Maverick's, we need a good steakhouse in this town.

It's nice to finally have a venue for shows and concerts. The list of upcoming events is quite impressive!
