We started our furniture journey on March 29, 2020. We ordered a sectional, a chest dresser, and a long dresser. The sectional came right away and looked great. We have been enjoying it for many weeks now. However, we are still waiting for the other two items. When we purchased the dresser and chest we were told it would be here in 2-3 weeks at very most. Do to the virus and understanding things are backed up we waited three weeks before calling since we hadn't hear anything. When we inquired about the two items on April 14th we were told it would be here are on the 22nd for sure. At this point we agreed and reset up times for someone to be able to pick it up for us. On April 22nd over 4 weeks after purchasing the items we hadn't heard any update. So again we called. The response we received was, "sorry it will be here on the 29th for sure". So again we waited. On April 28th we called to ask if our items were on track to be there. We were told no they aren't and for sure next week. On April 30th we called again to double check. We were told by a different employee that no there is no way we know when the items will be here and we must wait. Being confused by the mixed messages we went into the store to inquiry since it has been almost five full weeks and told it would be here multiple times. When we went into there three employees were waiting for us. Two out of the three were disrespectful. One in particular was extremely rude. The comment the employee made was, "shi*, it is just like toilet paper, we are out and you need to wait for more to come back in". At the end of the conversation we still had no idea when or if we would receive our chest and dresser to finish our matching set that we bought from Slumberland 10 months earlier. Not to mention the countless other things we have purchased in the past from this company. Onto week 6 or this week. Told today, May 7th, that our furniture should be here next week. So again waiting for another week questioning if we have been scammed out of our money or if we will maybe see our furniture. For those wondering, no we haven't received any discount or someone trying to actually resolves this issue. Along with this we don't feel welcome in the store anymore, because when we go in employees ignore us or simply are very short answered. We understand the virus has slowed things down, however, we don't agree with how much disrespect we have been issued in this journey...
Read moreWhen I moved cross country a couple of years ago, I needed all new furniture for a brand new home And as soon as I walked into Slumberland furniture, I was greeted by a very warm, bright smile from Dawn! And for the past two years, Dawn has been my go to sales person at the store. What’s also cool , I still have no idea if the sales people work on commission as you would never know it. They’re not those annoying types that jump down on you like vultures in attack mode the second you walk through the door, but they’re there to help you if you have any questions…..which to me shows a well managed furniture store and that is Slumberland.I’ve probably purchased close to $15,000+ worth of furniture, sofas, recliners, love seats, dining room table set and end/coffee tables dressers, television console etc. and threw it all Dawn has been one of the best sales people I’ve had in decades and that’s an understatement! She was always so patient as that first day I spent at least three hours walking through the store changing my mind a few times😉 but through it, all she was cheerful, extremely patient and knowledgeable. She never talked down to me. She answered every question and was always professional. And most recently, she and the store manager, Heather, who is also excellent, helped me deal with a situation with the company that handles the warranties & they both worked diligently for me, The customer. There are a couple other furniture stores in this town and I’m so glad that I set foot in Slumberland first because I’ve known other people who have spent time in one of the other stores and was not happy with the outcome so I definitely can’t say enough good things about Slumberland . I even passed along this info to my sister, who also purchased a recliner from the store and was very satisfied . Also, I can’t say enough good things about the delivery guys. Each and every one of them were so personable, helpful & didn’t rush through anything -very professional. Back to Dawn🙂 she is one of those sales people that you wish you could run into with any kind of buying/shopping adventure. Just a joy to work with! I can’t recommend her or...

We were greeted upon entering the store and offered the use of the elevator to get downstairs where the mattresses were displayed. Nathan, our salesman, listened to what we were looking for and directed us to a couple of options. He invited us to try out the options and after laying down on the mattresses, provided a couple others options based on our comments. He was very attentive and listened to our feedback. Upon choosing a mattress, he discussed their 30-day trial period and the program to choose another mattress if our selected mattress was not meeting our expectations. He discussed options for the mattress and we selected the cooling feature on the mattress cover. He informed us of the delivery timeframe and the option to remove our current mattress when the new mattress was delivered. Nathan made our mattress shopping a positive experience!
