Roll Arena Family Skating Center — Attraction in Elyria

Roll Arena is an absolute gem of a skating rink that exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted with an infectious energy and a warm, welcoming ambiance that set the stage for an incredible experience. With its clean and well-maintained floor, along with the exceptionally friendly staff, Roll Arena quickly became my go-to destination for endless fun on wheels.

First and foremost, the cleanliness of the skating rink floor at Roll Arena is commendable. I was pleasantly surprised to find a sparkling clean, smooth surface that was perfect for gliding and performing all sorts of tricks. It was evident that the management team at Roll Arena takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene. I couldn't spot a single speck of dirt or debris, allowing me to skate with confidence and without any worries of slipping or stumbling. Kudos to the dedicated staff for their diligent efforts in keeping the floor in such impeccable condition!

Ill start with the positive, the food was good and decently priced, i could afford it at the very least which when you have kids to feed is not so easy these days. I Was however extremely disappointed with this place. Sure it's very spacious, and some of the staff is great, but it's dirty everywhere, the carpet is disgusting and ripped in many places throughout, some of the lockers are broken, even the places to sit are broken and disgusting. The bathroom doors are horrible, short(where all you need to see over is just stand there) and they have no locks. ( sorry boys but i like feel safe and i like my privacy when going for a pee 😉)The concrete floor is horrible to skate on ( anywhere where there isn't carpet or wood floor basically) it's like someone took some paint over pebbles and called it a day, and the parking lot should either be paved or be gravel. And it kind of smells like smoke, mildew, sweat, and feet. The owner clearly doesn't care about this place or a lawsuit if someone got hurt. I would love to see some improvements happening. C'mon, you guys can do better for the city of Elyria. Let's shake a leg.( i would post my pictures but for some reason it's now letting me so ill try again later) Maybe you guys could hold some extras skate times specifically to get money to fix the place up. Maybe go around to the other arenas in the area and see what they did to update their places like the one in Lorain . Idk I'm sure you guys can get...

My daughter had a birthday party here and the staff was wonderful and my daughter had an amazing time and that is all that really matters. I do want to warn future party hosts, if you do not rent out the entire rink you get the party room for only 45 min. I was thinking that we would have a room the whole time and they would call us to eat the food, cake and presents in our 45 min slot but that is not the case. You are with other parties and you have to get a table by yourself by the snack bar. It is also very overwhelming checking in at the front. My party was at 1pm and I got there at 12:30pm but my party could not come in until 1pm, with other parties starting at 1pm too, it was extremely crowded and overwhelming. I think they should start letting people in earlier than 1pm bc that was a cluster in that room. I also ordered extra pizza and an extra pitcher of a drink and you do not get that until your 45 min. slot either so I had extremely hungry and thirsty little kids until I bought them stuff at the snack shop. Also pretty much all the games were out of order and I talked to the guy and he told me he is the only one that can fix them and I felt really bad bc that is a lot of work for one person. I did get a discount bc I was not happy with my experience hosting a party there, at the end of the day my daughter had an amazing time and the staff was very kind and tried...
