Amazing experience from beginning to end. From a phone call of questions about waiver and paying at park (was unable to sign on cell phone safari browser) to riding at the beginner cable and the advance cable. Jordan at the front desk was PHENOMENAL! She has amazing customer service skills, answered all questions about the pro shop after I wanted to basically buy the whole store! lol Grady was EXCEPTIONAL at the beginner cable, encouraging and helpful riding a clock-wise cable, that nollie start was different! LOVEEEEEE the pipe rail! He was super encouraging about discussing progress and overcoming your mental block when you’re feeling discouraged when you’re working on a trick for so long. and last but not least, Cayden over at the Advance cable was MARVELOUS. Asking what were the scariest features and how to “hit” them was helpful, that “pizza rail” to the pipe was gnarly, but accomplished after facing the fear, and he guided me on what I was doing wrong and how to correct it on the pool gap stair completion. After 3 tries, nailed it! What an amazing feeling! From the staff to the members, I’ve NEVER felt more welcomed at a new park before, as well as the “vibe” was something you cannot describe in words. Even at my home park it’s not as welcoming, inviting, supportive or encouraging. If I could, I’d make Terminus my home park in a heartbeat based on the 2 hours I spent there. Keep up the amazing work!! And keep the vibe strong always. I will definitely be back in the summer and once more before yall close for the winter....
Read moreAbsolutely horrible. They make you sign a waver to not sue due to death or injury. That makes sense because they clearly don't care about safety. The teen lifeguard on duty was completely absent during an child emergency. The child was stuck for over 10 minutes and couldn't get out. So many of her friends tried to help and yelled twice for the lifeguard. I saw the WHOLE thing. That poor kid ended getting really tired and scared even with the life vest on. The kids friend waved and yelled 'help' again. I have pictures and videos of the oblivious lifeguard sitting staring off in distance. The area was shut off to parents, but when my kid said 'Cayden needs help, she's getting really tired and she's scared now'. I yelled along with others parents for the lifeguard to do their job. I feel Angry at the complete lack of care for these kids. SAFETY is #1 priority, but not to this place. I read other reviews about the lack of care of these lifeguards, but we always assume it won't happen to us or it's an 'isolated incident'. Shame on this place. The girl affected mom talked to the manager, but didn't seem to understand what a big deal safety is. Aware lifeguards may not to be important to him, it's not his kid who may have a core memory of getting trapped, and that parent already signed a waver if...
Read moreOur first experience at Terminus and it was awesome! My teens (3) did the one-on-one lessons first with Jackson and his encouragement and enthusiasm was amazing. He’s so personable and took the time to remember their names and address them accordingly. All of the staff that we interacted with was fantastic....EVERY.SINGLE.ONE! From checking in, getting rental gear, lessons, then finally being on the lakes.
We went on to do the two hour experience after the lessons. The wait time on the beginners lake can be kinda long (10 - 12 minutes, maybe) even with just 8 or 9 people, so next time we’ll try to pick an off-peak time. When my newbie kids wanted to try the more advanced lake (the cables go faster), Trevor was encouraging and offered tips on form and technique.
All gear was disinfected and I witnessed the staff wiping down surfaces often. They even have a clean restroom on site. I would recommend bringing your own travel chair if you’re just an observer as the common seating has been removed due to COVID. There are shaded areas where the chairs can be set up. Fun times, you should give it a try,...
