Taco Bell — Restaurant in Emerson

I just ordered dinner for my family from this location. First off, they left out part of my order. I ordered a total of 5 meal boxes. Those special cantina boxes and the luxe boxes. They didn’t come in boxes. The items that were not missing were just piled into bags. If so much were not missing we would have just eaten the smashed up burritos and crushed tacos. I mean face it you don’t take home Taco Bell and expect perfect tacos. If they had put them into boxes as advertised they would have been better. Anyway, I went back to get the items that were missing and since I had to come all the way back and the food was questionable at best to begin with I figured that they would just remake it because it was cold and smashed in the bag. The manager said that I should have called her to let her know that my food was missing and that way I could have kept the items that were in the bag instead of having to remake them. She refused to remake it because a 60$ order is too much to remake. Imagine my feeling of how 60$ is too much to spend on inedible food. So she remade the tacos that were smashed but when I got home it turned out that she had not included the missing items. Oh except for the stale chips. She did throw some of those in. This is what 60$ looks like at Taco Bell in Emerson. At minimum insist that they put your “boxes” in a box to avoid the mess. We eat at this location fairly often but we don’t usually have such a large order and when we get boxes they are boxed. I tried to be nice to her because she is my daughter’s age and I wouldn’t want anyone to be ugly to her because she made a mistake but my daughter actually took the food back and insisted on a refund. I feel like maybe instead of telling me that I should have called before I drove back that maybe she should have made my food correctly in the first place. I’m disappointed by this experience. SERIOUSLY, DON'T EAT HERE, NOT EVEN WORTH IT FOR A TACO BELL. Ordered 2 shredded chicken burritos, one had a strong chemical taste and had to throw it away. Ordered nacho fries but did not get cheese sauce with it. Ordered nacho fries bell grande, no fork. Ordered chips and guac, the chips had a strong chemical taste as well, it burned our mouths (almost like it was acidic), had to throw them away without eating too. Ordered a beefy frito burrito, NOT A SINGLE FRITO IN THE WHOLE BURRITO, unfortunately this is not just an exaggeration either. The last 4+ times I've ordered the frito burrito from this restaurant, I never get any fritos in the frito burrito?? Everytime I order again because I think SURELY IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN And then it does. So, this time I had to leave a review. This taco bell has left out AT LEAST 1 item from 5 out of 7 times that we have gone, just in the past few weeks alone. For how many times they have messed up our orders, this is by far the WORST experience we've had and we will not be going back now, despite convenience For being brand new, this Taco Bell is atrocious. I don't know where these negative reviews come from. In fact I'm quite shocked when I went to leave this review I saw so many. I will occasionally drop by this location after work for dinner and every time they get my order spot on. This particular night, I had a bad day from work and needed to grab dinner. Went up to the window and paid and a young gentleman by the name of Cyrus asked me if my hand was okay (it is in a brace because I fit/weld for work). I told him it was just from work and we got into a quick conversation about his goals and wow I tell you, Taco Bell is very fortunate to employ such a bright individual. All I can tell you is that in that brief conversation I met a young man with great aspirations. His mannerisms were genuine and first-class. A true gentleman. If I were Taco Bell, I would acknowledge this type of character. Look if these negative reviews are credible, wait until you go to the Taco Bell locations SE of Atlanta. It will drive you away from from this chain. People like Cryus make the difference. A+...
