Point Emery — Attraction in Emeryville

During the age of covid, reign of Biden the frail its nice to be able to stop alongside a highway and admire the beauty of nature mixed with civilization, breathe the bay breeze, relax, walk to the water and actually touch it, hang out and not worry about being pushed on by over zealous riot police or lost protesters. It's probably not safe to leave your car filled with stuff for a day or so, but I left the car running and went down the path to take some pics and came back to everything being there. I did lose a camera bag at 6am though once... I think or maybe the neighbor that parked next to me in empty parking lot acting shifty did take it... I can't be sure. Common sense...

Beautiful place to watch a sunrise or sunset and see the Golden Gate Bridge. It's easy to find, there's some parking, it's right off Highway 80, and the on ramp is very close when your ready to go. Just a quiet place to go if you're in the area and have a few extra moments to spare. It's amazing to think people from all over the world travel to the SF Bay Area just to catch a glimpse of it's beauty and it's right there for us. Bay Area girl born and raised, and happy to be...

This is a beautiful little point out into the San Francisco Bay. There is a linear parking lot that ends in a roundabout, but people often park at the end which can cause some major inconvenience. The views are spectacular, and it can be a great place to pop off to and find a peaceful moment. There are also a good amount of trash cans, so no need to litter if you happen to have...
