Shorebird Park Emeryville — Attraction in Emeryville

Saw some rather peculiar shorebirds while there, almost looked like pigeons.

A rather spartan park in terms of just about everything, but there's a small beach/cove you can walk around on. Couple of sculptures and a platform that goes slightly beyond the shoreline. Mind that you don't lean on the railing though, the birds have "marked" it as their territory.

There's litter all around but what beach doesn't have some sort of litter nowadays? Some of it has weathered into sea glass though, if you're into collecting that. Maybe clean up some litter while you're at it.

There's some free 2 hour parking spots along the side of the road by this park, but be wary of road traffic when exiting...

The piece of earth going out into the bay is diminished by nine tenths over the last 10 years with the Water Rising there isn't a park bench and there isn't a little table and it's not wide and it's not long and I hope Emeryville puts more rocks up and puts more Earth there and makes the point continue I have pictures over the last year's if anybody wants them we could compile them together from my from my photo album The Point went out more than a quarter of a mile into the bay just a few years ago let's keep...

perfect spot to pull off the freeway and catch you that mid-afternoon nap to avoid that MacArthur Maze and or if you want to take a short nap or if you want to walk around the shoreline to get your boots muddy this is the perfect locale local yuppies haven't taken it over yet limited parking...
