Cardiff Town Center — Attraction in Encinitas

Love this place so this is heartbreaking to write!

Once a week or so, I am at this complex and do a ton of business there. My therapist has an office in the complex, so I may see them, have a bite to eat, and go to seaside market. I go to the Starbucks there daily.

I also love the new shops popping up and check them out whenever I can.

Today - after just such a day, where I spent probably $400 at various shops over a two hour period - I received a parking citation from LAZ parking, who they have apparently contracted with to issue tickets for anyone how stays longer than 1 hour.

They said I was there for 1 hour and 40 minutes. And they say I owe them $60 for that offense.

Hard to describe how frustrating and disappointing this is, especially given how much I love the stores here and how much I typically spend.

Shops are great but we ended up not shopping because the thug they hired to patrol the shopping center is extremely aggressive and a complete jerk. We were parking and planned to go to Pipes for a quick bite before coming back to shop and stock up on Cardiff crack. We would have been out of there in less than an hour. He was confrontational and threatened to call the sheriff if we parked there for even a few min before coming back to shop. He then tried to block our vehicle when we tried to leave. Love this center as it has a couple favorite places for me. East Coast Pizza and Cardiff Seaside Market( a bit expensive). The Cardiff "Crack" seasoned tri tip is FAMOUS and incredible!
