SteamCo Carpet Cleaning — Attraction in Encinitas

I scheduled my appointment with Steamco online, it was extremely easy and I received an excellent quote. Steamco reached out to me almost immediately to confirm my services. I was scheduled for a window between 9 AM and 11 AM.

I was very pleasantly surprised when Travis called me at 8:30 AM to let me know he was on his way and would be there at 9. Upon arrival (on time at 9) he walked me through the process, had me point out any areas of focus, and showed me the work order for what he would be doing. the work order he gave me was the same price as the online quote, he did make suggestions of additional pet treatments (which I took him up on) and I added a room, but I did not feel like Travis was being pushy or trying to upsell me. H was nothing but professional the whole time.

Travis told me the whole process would take about an hour and he finished right on time. I can't say enough positive things about Travis or Steamco, overall a very easy, affordable, and professional service. The floors and couch...

Daylo was very courteous communicative and punctal. He called me to let me know he was 20 minutes out so I could leave work and meet him rather than having to wait all morning. When he arrived, he was very knowledgeable and explained the level of expectations I should have considering the age and wear and tear of my carpet including the pet stains from my dog. He advised that I could benefit from both the pet and deep cleaning solutions, and at what I felt was a very reasonable price as I already was getting a great deal from their 2 br and a hall Groupon. When he finished we were both surprised and happy with how clean the carpet actually came out. I ultimately was just happy to get it surface cleaned and look nice as I have company coming soon. I am very happy with the results! All in all it was a very positive experience and I will look to use your company again...

Travis is kind and knowledgeable, and communicated when he was on his way. My roommate and I were surprised when we smelled a sewage smell shortly after he arrived. I asked him about this, and he stated that he had dumped his wastewater / gray water onto our front lawn, and that it might be aromatic for a few minutes. I was still able to smell it after an hour.

More importantly, it was unprofessional to dump wastewater on our lawn which is right next to our windows and dog run. It's not the end of the world, but someone should ask before dumping on your property. I would have declined, as I would be concerned about chemical and / or bacterial activity of said water.

I called two other highly rated carpet cleaning companies, and was told by one that they do dump on client's land, but they ask permission first. The other stated that they drain directly...
