If you enjoy learning about the history of small town Enid, this museum is a must stop destination. From saddles and guns to beer cans and carriages, the Simpsons have amassed an impressive collection of Enid’s history. You can see some of the sets from the movies they’ve made and even explore a few of them. The saloon’s swinging doors and dim interior makes you feel as if you’ve stepped straight into an old west movie. There are presidential peace medals you can view in the section dedicated to Native American artifact and history. The owner is very nice and will happily guide you through the museum and tell you stories about the objects. He’s also happy to let you tour on your own and come to him with any questions. The museum runs off of donations, which go to upkeep and restoring the building so it isn’t demolished along with its history.
