Diamond Sands Apartments — Attraction in Enterprise

. This is the worst complex I have ever been in. The apartment was nice at first, but the maintenance team and management are terribly neglectful to their tenants. My washer, dryer, and dish washer were broken for two months before being worked on. Then when the guy came to fix the dish washer, he said he would come back to do the rest and never came back for another MONTH. ALSO I don't know who is responsible for the renovations, but our apartment was one of the ones recently done and the piping for the air conditioner where the precipitation is suppose to run outside is inside our HALLWAY DRAINING WATER INTO TH BACK OF MY CLOSET AND HALLWAY WHICH IS CAUSING THE BASEBOARD TO TURN YELLOW FROM MOLD! They have chose to do nothing to fix this problem and it is a possibility that we are breathing in mold. Also to follow up on the last person's comment about harassment from the office, this is extremely true! We had the three bedroom apartment and the one manager lived above us. She has come down to our apartment and told us that we were talking too loud, when she herself has an OVERWIGHT DOG THAT SHOULDNT EVEN BE THERE STOMPING AROUND ALL NIGHT. NOT TO MENTION THIS NASTY HYPOCRYTICAL PERSON HAS SEX WITH HER BF VERY LOUDLY! HOW EMBARASSING FOR HER TENANTS TO HAVE TO HEAR THAT. ESPECIALLY WHEN SHE TELLS US WE ARE TOO LOUD! She continues to harass me and my roommates with parking violations, while other tenants that park worse than us are not penalized. This apartment complex is run down and there has been three murders behind the complex in the course of our almost year living there. They say it is also a gated community, but how can it be gated and locked if the gate is always open! and the gate in the back of the complex is always broken allowing anyone to come inside. Not only are their gates not secure, their security is lazy, and also likes to harass me and my roommates. I have been kicked out of the pool area three different times from the same guard for apparently not having the correct pool key, but the correct pool key was never provided for us. Not only did the guard follow me back to my apartment, he proceeded to shine his flash light in my car. During this particular guard's nightly run, he shines his flash light in residents cars looking around inside. THIS IS INVASION OF PRIVACY! I was also getting out of my car from work one night and the guard shined his light directly in my face. this is sooo unnecessary. Not only is the office rude and neglectful, they are also racist and prejudice. When I went to the office to get the pool pass we supposedly needed, the guy Steve had no idea what I was talking about, not only that he didn't even remember me being on the lease. These people are a disgrace, they are rude this place is disgusting, and I can guarantee anyone thinking of possibly living here will regret their decisions. So please avoid this complex like the plague you would be better off at the Budget Budget sweets across the Boulevard!!! NO IM NOT LOOKING TO CALL AND DISCUSS THESE PROBLEMS WITH ANY OF THE OFFICE STAFF DONT BOTHER LOST CAUSE. Be lucky no one in my old place hasn't filed a lawsuit for this roach infested dump. Also for you folks LIVING/ or thinking about LIVING THERE be sure to give not one but TWO TO THREE MONTHS NOTICE TO THE OFFICE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE RENEWING YOUR LEASE OR YOU...

We relocated here from across the country about 5 months ago and are very glad we did. We were attracted by the value (Direct TV, high speed internet, trash, water all included in rent), recently renovated apartments (with pergo-like hardwood floors in all but the bedrooms, gives less of a standard issue "tan carpet throughout" apartment feel), well kept property (lots of trees and green grass), incredibly convenient and yet quiet location, and staff responsiveness to our cross country moving needs.

Having read some of the negative reviews on here, I would like to clearly state to all that may be interested in this place, it is a very good choice to make. Maybe they are tough if you are late on your rent, I have no experience with that, but it is a business after all. We live on the ground floor and have had issues with a squeaky floor above us. Maintenance immediately responded and worked hard to fix it.

The only real issue that we've seen here would be parking. You are going to have 1 assigned parking spot, and, unless you live near the rear of the property (we do) where there is overflow parking it will be an issue when you have guests. How big an issue is really up to you. There is nothing anyone can do about it except to enforce the parking rules to guarantee your spot. Your guests may well have to walk a bit to your place. Or, better yet, you may let them park in your spot while you take a short walk. When you rent an apartment or do anything else for that matter, try and consider all aspects before, not after committing. If parking is a major concern, then take a look at the unit you are considering and the parking arrangements before signing.

So, if you are considering Diamond Sands take a look at the : POSITIVES: "location, location, location", value (Direct TV, high speed internet, water, trash incl.), curb appeal, quietness, responsive management and maintenance staff, excellent pool, club-room, and fitness center NEGATIVES: parking, 22 year old apartments may need some tlc from time to time

BEWARE! I lived at this community for 5 yrs,. I felt unsafe due to the less than desirable tenants they were allowing to move in and this community is full of air bnb units. You will be scrutinized to the fullest in order to move in but yet they allow strangers to stay in the apartments. These people over crowd the pool, gym, picnic areas and park where ever they feel the need. I was approached by someone who asked where they could by drugs, you know street durgs he said. I felt very vulnerable being it was 1 in the morning as i walked from my parking. So be advised you might be residing next to one of these units and you will have no choice but to deal with this kind of activity. Of course Steve in the office denies this even occurs but you see the cleaning ladies every morning pushing the carts around the property like a hotel. I have photos of the units that have keyless pads for entry on the unit, which is obvious it's an air bnb because they don't allow you as a resident to install on your unit. According to Clark County it is illegal for multifamily zoned to be rented as air bnb by a single owner. Now this is what you'll get for you high rent. the units are old, miss matched cabinets with years of paint on them and there's paint all over everything, the appliances are beat up and dated. The units look nothing like the "models" The grounds are only pretty by the office and their air bnb, everyone else has no landscape, missing bushes, bare grass, dirty picnic areas. I'll admit it was nice the 1st year I was there but the ownership has become less than ok. I would do your home work and just drive around after 4 pm you see people being dropped off with suitcases etc and then on weekends you be hard pressed to enjoy the ammenities that you pay...
