Let me begin by saying that my family was genuinely excited to stay here. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the pool, which looked like a great feature for families. Unfortunately, after our stay, I cannot recommend this property for several reasons. The Room: We booked a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit, which was spacious and well laid out. However, there were noticeable signs of wear and tear throughout. Cleanliness felt inconsistent—some areas were well-kept, while others seemed neglected. Our two biggest issues with the room were the TV and the beds. The TV signal constantly cut in and out, which was frustrating—especially with kids who rely on some screen time for entertainment. But the worst part by far was the beds. They were extremely uncomfortable, clearly worn out, and provided no support whatsoever. It made for a very poor sleeping experience. The Pool: The pool was a big draw for us, and while it has great potential with waterslides and a large layout, it ended up being a major letdown. First, the water was surprisingly cold—definitely not heated, which made it unpleasant to swim for extended periods, even in the heat of summer. Second, the pool closes at 8 PM. For a July stay in Las Vegas, this is very early. Many other off-strip properties keep their pools open until 10 PM during the summer months, which makes much more sense given the climate. Policies & Amenities: This property feels heavily profit-driven, which takes away from the family-friendly atmosphere it advertises. One major issue is the restriction on bringing any snacks or drinks (besides water) into the pool area. As a parent, this is incredibly frustrating. Not being allowed to bring juice or small snacks for your kids forces you to buy everything at the poolside bar—which, on top of being overpriced, adds an automatic 18% gratuity. It’s less about safety and more about maximizing profits. The BBQ grills are also oddly placed, far from the pool and only accessible through a separate entrance. There’s no direct access between the grill area and the pool, which seems deliberately inconvenient—likely to discourage outside food and encourage more bar purchases. Customer Service: Housekeeping staff were polite and courteous, which we appreciated. However, guest services and the concierge team left much to be desired. Most communication is done via text, which is convenient in theory, but the responses felt robotic, rushed, and unhelpful—lacking any real personalization or care. While this property offers timeshares and presents itself as a “home away from home,” the strict policies, lack of flexibility, and clear profit-first approach make it feel more like a typical strip hotel. The snack and drink restrictions at the pool, in particular, are a major disappointment...especially for a family-oriented resort. In summary, while the hotel has potential, it misses the mark in several key areas. I would recommend exploring other options if you're looking for a more welcoming, family-friendly experience.

The pools and slides are fun. The rooms are spacious. The location is far enough from the hustle and bustle of the strip, but close enough to be in the Las Vegas vibe. The weather is great in September. Being a guest here makes you a potential buyer of their units. You see, this is not just a “resort.” They sell units to you as well. At any time, you will see their sales staff giving a tour of the property, which takes away the vacation experience. Through sketchy tactics, they will get to you and sell to you too. They will call you to welcome you and to give you a “gift.” Intrigued, you go to the concierge to claim this gift, which is a $100 gift card and a three-day stay to select partner properties. But, they will charge your credit card on file $40 to attend a 90-minute sales talk and tour. They would reserve you an appointment and make you sign an agreement. In this agreement, there is this $40 charge (that they checked “agreed” for you) to make this sales talk and tour appointment, and is only refundable after sitting through the 90-minute appointment. Now who wants to spend their vacation getting sold a unit you didn’t want, for 90-minutes, and pay $40 for it, after already paying the full price for your stay? They won’t tell you the full disclosure, and through flattery and distraction you may sign the appointment agreement. Many people fall for it, that’s why they have constant stream of people walking around, getting a tour. It would take you out of vacation mode; everyone is being sold to, left and right. Half of the pool is closed, and the slides are only open a few hours a day. They claim staffing issue, but I suspect, it’s because they’re only willing to pay workers as low as they can legally get away with. With the minimum wage not keeping up with inflation, no wonder corporations lowballing their payroll can’t fill open positions. But you’re already here, you already paid your stay, and despite the corporate greed surrounding you, you have no choice but to make the best out of your time here. You can get mad at the scammy sales practices that baited you and many vacationers to make the sales appointment, but at the end of the day, you only get mad at the staff, who are just trying to make a living. Just trying to do their job. And by the looks of it, they aren’t happy to work here either. It-pays-the-bills kind of customer service/sales job. The greedy ones at the top were left unscathed, squeezing as much dollars from us, the customers, to award themselves more compensation for cutting expenses (lowballing employees) and beating sales expectations they themselves contrived. If you have been a victim of this scam—and this is a fraudulent business practice—report it to reportfraud.ftc.gov.

Hilton (20 minutes from central Las Vegas): cozy and quiet, but not for families with small children We stayed at this Hilton for a week with our family. The hotel is located about 20 minutes from the Strip. It’s quiet, peaceful, and casino-free — a plus for those seeking calm. Upon check-in, our room was clean, spacious, with two bathrooms, a kitchen, balcony, and a pleasant scent. That was a great first impression. However, housekeeping never came once during the entire stay. I had to personally ask a staff member in the hallway just to get fresh trash bags. No initiative from the hotel at all. The biggest disappointment for us was the lack of amenities for small children. There is no playground, no kids’ pool, no children’s room. The outdoor area has a couple of benches, and that’s it. After 8 PM, there’s literally nothing to do — even for teens. The pool and game areas close early. The pools are freezing cold, to the point that barely anyone was swimming. Just dipping feet in. 🚨 There’s also this odd thing: every 1–2 minutes, a loud “beep” or signal goes off somewhere on the property, especially around the pool. Maybe it’s a sensor or system, but it quickly becomes annoying and ruins any relaxation. 📶 Wi-Fi kept disconnecting, and our mobile data was weak here too. 🍴 Bar and restaurant close at 8 PM. When kids are asleep and you want to relax — there’s nowhere to go. 🚗 Safe location, store across the street, free underground and outdoor parking — big plus. 🚶 But nothing nearby for a walk — mostly cars, parking lots, and empty space. 🧼 The hallway carpet is worn out, but the hotel smells clean, which is nice. If we had paid full price (this stay was gifted to us), we wouldn’t have chosen it for a family trip. For couples without children, it may work: it’s calm, there’s a kitchen, and it’s cheaper than the Strip. But as a family hotel for kids under 3 — absolutely not. I’m sharing this honest review on Google and Yelp as an active Local Guide. I would truly appreciate if Hilton reaches out and offers a bonus — perhaps a stay at another Hilton with better amenities for young children. I believe this hotel can be a favorite for many families — with just a few thoughtful improvements. RECOMMENDED 💯 (Personal experience) — only if you’re not traveling with small kids.

We are a family of 4 with 2 little kids (about 2-yr and 5-yr old as of Aug 2025). We stayed here with our first kid for 3 nights in June 2022, and decided to return in August 2025 for 4 nights with our little ones (2 kids this time). We stayed in the one-bedroom both times. ||Here is our experience: || - Overall: 7 out of 10. We enjoyed our stay in general, but will probably try other places due to some of the things that needed improvement (see below). || - Suite Space: It's enough for our family of 4. We were lucky to get the pool-facing balcony and the kids loved it. || - Overall cleanliness: Needs improvement. Yes, someone did clean the suite, but it wasn't deeply cleaned. You can see spots here and there. For example, there were some stains on the wall, spots in the sink, dusts in the corner, and other items mentioned below. | | - Room & Beds: Sofa Bed was fine. It didn't look very clean, but clean bedsheets were provided to cover it up. I thought the bed in bedroom was fine, but my wife said it was old and she had some allergic reactions (she has very sensitive skins). || - Pack n play: Upon request, they gave us a pack n play for our toddler for free. It's a really nice one, but there were some food debris (like cereal) underneath the pad. || - Kitchen: It's small, but it has what we needed; a fridge, microwave, stove, cooking ware, silverware, etc. It's enough to make easy meals and heating up leftovers. This was very helpful for family with little kids like ours. They also have a coffee maker, coffee, creamer, sponge, and dish detergent. The only things that I wish they had but didn't were cooking oil and salt. || - Bathrooms: We had 2 bathrooms. The smaller one has a sink, a toilet, and shower. The bigger one has two sinks, a toilet and a pretty big bath tub. My kids and I had a great time taking bubble baths in the tub after swimming. | | - Laundry room: I didn't notice the washer and dryer during my first stay. While reading other reviews, It seems like this is probably not available in all of the floors? This time, I brought my own detergent and planned to hand-wash my clothes and hang them on the balcony chair, but then I saw the washer and dryer as I was getting ice. They are Samsung brand, machines look pretty clean, and they function normally. || - Pool: Nice pool, as shown in their pictures. Both kids enjoyed it very much. My 5-yr old (about 45 inches tall) was allowed to use the waterslide. They closed out some sections of the pool when there were less people. The hours are 8am-8pm when we visited in August. Not sure if it's different during winter. || - Gym: It's small, but equipment look new and clean. I've used their gym about 4 times, and there were 2 times that I saw a staff coming in to clean. || - Game Room: It's listed in their amenities, but I actually wasn't sure if this was it. There's a small room by the gym that has a robot ice cream machine and a broken air hocky table. The AC also wasn't turned on when I visited in the morning. | | - Food (Caribe lounge): When we visited in 2022, I remember the food was great and price was fair. This time, we visited only once, and the food wasn't as good as I remembered, and I thought it was kind of pricy. It took them about 20 minutes to prepare our mac & cheese and fish & chips. Maybe we just went at a bad time. Happy hour is 3-4pm and the deals are not that great. || - Hotel Price: I think the price is fair comparing to other resorts in the area. With this price, I don't expect everything to be perfect (though I do hope the cleanliness could be a little better). The nearby Tahiti Village has similar (or better) amenities, but for some reason it was almost twice as expensive during the week we're visiting Las Vegas. || - Resort fees: It averaged out to about $40/night during our stay this time. Yes, it is annoying, but I believe most other places are charging resort fees like this place is (as far as I know). It's like when you rent an apartment, you'd expect paying additional $100-200 for utilities and other things. You just need to include it in your budget when you book hotels in Las Vegas. || - Timeshare talk: Ignored it both times. I've heard bad experience about it and it's not worth the time for those free tickets they offer. || - Service: Michael at Check-in was very nice. During our stay, we were able to text house keeping to request items like TP or trash bags, but we had to follow up the second day as they didn't show up. I think the policy is that they don't come in to change your bedsheet unless you stay for more than 5 nights, but you can request such services when needed. || - Guest policy: We were told that we can't bring any guests. This was slightly inconvenient as we were meeting with a friend, but I can understand. If each group brings a guest to the pool or restaurant, it would be way too crowded. || - Security at gate: During our 2022 visit, there was no security at the gate. This time, upon arrival, a security at the entry asked if we were checking in and he let us in. For re-entry, just show security the parking slip. There were two occasions during our stay, both at night time, that a security was not present and the gate was open. || - Parking: Spaces are very limited in the structure. There were times that we had to park far and walk. || - Summary: We had a great time with our kids for a very affordable price here. The main reasons we decided to return to this place was due to pricing, big pool with water slide, the big tub, and the kitchen. If you cannot tolerate the cleanliness issues, this is probably not the place for you. To clarify, I wouldn't say the place is dirty (at least to my standard). It's more like someone maybe spent two hours to clean their apartment before guests come, rather than having a cleaning crew come in and clean every corner and tiny detail. However, you do get what you paid for. I'm sure there are places with a less exciting pool but better quality of rooms at the same price. Overall, I was happy with the price I paid to stay...

Let me start with the positive things about the Cancun Las Vegas, a Hilton Vacation Club.||First and foremost, this property is associated with Hilton. I'm loyal to Hilton and stay Hilton properties frequently. To me the Hilton brand sets a level of quality and professionalism that I've come to expect. In addition to that, one single staff member that I interacted with at this property was courteous and professional. Her name was Liana Castro. And, lastly when we arrived, our room was fairly clean.||However, the list of things that were wrong with this property and it's staff is very long.||- When we first entered the property, the guard at the front gate was not very polite or welcoming. And, he made a very special point of telling us that we were not allowed to have any guests. It was such a weird way to give a first impression to a customer.||- I had pre-paid for a week-long stay at this hotel. I think that resort fees are a total scam (hotels just use them to make their prices appear lower in online searches), so I specifically avoid hotels that charge them. No where during the booking process was there any mention of additional fees for this booking.||- When I got to the front desk, the clerk was not very professional or welcoming. She seemed like I was inconveniencing her to check in. I don't remember her name, but I was thinking she probably received her hospitality training at the same school that the guard attended. ||- Much to my surprise she charged me a resort fee of $39 per day for my stay (even though I had pre-paid for the entire stay). I told her that I didn't see that in the booking process, but I'd have to review the screenshots on my laptop once I got unpacked. She also told me (without me bringing it up) that we were not allowed to have guests. I didn't really care about that because we did not have any plans of having guests, but it certainly was a weird thing to say, and it set the tone for the rest of my stay. She also told me that we would only get housekeeping once per week.||- When I got unpacked, I reviewed my screenshots from the booking process and there was not mention of any resort fees or any other hidden junk fees.||- I went back to the front desk with my laptop a few hours later and asked to speak to a manager. Alejandra Gonzalez eventually came out to speak with me. I explained to her that the resort fees were not disclosed to me prior to payment, and I had screenshots to prove it. To my surprise, she was not willing to review my screenshots (that the resort fees were not disclosed anywhere in the booking process). She was by far the most rude and unprofessional person that I've ever dealt with at the front desk of a hotel. She would be better suited to work at a landfill or in a slaughter house or something else that was not customer-facing. I assume that she has some strengths, but she absolutely does not have the skills to interact directly with customers.||- The entire condition of the properly was very tired and worn. The carpets in the guest hallways were filthy, and most of the public areas of the property were dirty and disgusting. And, there was lots of noisy construction.||- Our room had very spartan and un-interesting decor.||- The internet did not work reliably and I had to use my cell phone hot spot. I found this particularly insulting since the internet was one of the primary benefits of the resort fee.||- Parking was very limited and difficult. One time, I had to park about 1/4 mile away from the building where my room was located. This was also ironic for the same reason as the poor internet.|||I wish that I had more positive things to say about this property. The facility and the staff were what you might expect at some fleabag hotel in the dangerous part of town. In fact, even though I pre-paid for an entire week, we left this hotel after only a few nights. I couldn't stand the quality of the accommodations or the poor customer service any more.||I hope that this helps in your...

Due to word count I couldn't post my entire update - it's on yelp DO NOT COME HERE

Most of the pools and several hot tubs were closed during Memorial Day weekend. They claim staffing issue but you can see so many lifeguards and team leads hanging out. Their main goal is to sell you a timeshare. The majority of hotel staff are unprofessional This is a subpar experience riddled with problems ending with finding a used tampon next to the lifeguard who refused to call someone to clean it up and pretty much told me to F off. Leadership refused to talk to me. I thought this place was being mismanaged by someone new since they were undergoing a 3rd rebrand last year. NOPE. THE GM has been here for almost a decade, and the assistant GM was promoted from Dir of Guest Relations. With this kind of tenure, you'd expect a well-oiled machine.

Original review: I've been wanting to stay here for a few years now, since 2 rebrands ago but I've never been able to pull the trigger. The photos on the website seemed to show very dated furniture and the possibility of disappointment was too great. I've tried so many hotels already up and down the strip. After what I experienced at the Waldorf, I couldn't imagine it to get worse so why not.

I was a little concerned to hear from the front desk that they've been having issues with their booking system and have consistently oversold. Not a surprise they're at 100% capacity since we went during July 4th.

Parking can be tricky - there are limited spots behind the building and underground. We stayed in a 1 bedroom king.

I was SHOCKED when i walked into the room. It's NOTHING like the photos. You can tell that they've revamped the rooms. Fresh paint - way better colors. The furniture looks newish. Everything feels light and bright. The carpet in the bedroom looks new. The flooring is a vinyl planks. One thing I didn't realize was how BIG the bathtub was going to be. 2 adults can fit into the bathtub. My girls ended up turning it into a mini swimming pool.

The room was CLEAN! I noticed housekeeping was on our floor, HOURS later, they were still on the floor and working through the rooms one by one. I was STUNNED. Most of the hotels here have mow/blow and go cleaning crew because they're all rushed to complete the rooms and check it off. I bring my own cleaning supplies whenever I stay anywhere and don't have to pull anything out. I love that this place takes the time to clean.

The kitchen is fully stocked with plates/silverware, cups, pots and pans. No drawers. Silverware are placed on the shelves in the cabinets. If you're short, that might be a problem - knives were 3 shelves up.

The pools are great as they're fairly large and lots of places to get in and out. What was frustrating was that many sections were CLOSED. If the hotel was 100% capacity, why did they close off so many sections? If they were all open, the pool would have been a little less crowded.

Guests are slobs. Besides a dirty towel, there was no sign of life on these chairs. This makes it hard for people to find a place to drop their stuff off.  The staff should have a marking system or something to check chairs - if no one returns after a certain amount of time (and it's just used towels, no personal belongings), then they should clear it up. There were many families that came in the morning and left a t-shirt and a towel on a chair and disappeared for hours. We swam in the morning and came back in the afternoon but didn't "hold a spot" like those guests (yes, I'm judging you and so did many other families that were looking for a spot).

We only had a couple of issues with our stay. Water pressure in the 2nd bathroom was non existent and the AC didn't work - it would cool but we couldn't adjust the temperature. Luckily, we prefer it warmer so it worked for us. I did have to follow up to get a copy of my invoice - but other than that - no issues.

Would we come back again. Absolutely! The kids had so much fun at the pool and they even liked the food at the hotel!...
