Chinook Pass — Attraction in Enumclaw

Chinook pass and right around the corner, Tipsoo Lake, are one of the best places to get amazing photos of Mt. Rainier with the lake reflecting the mountain, in the right conditions. This is a jumping off point for some hikes, including connecting with the Pacific Crest Trail. The hike around Naches Peak takes you into alpine meadows, view of Dewey Lake and in season, some amazing wildflowers.

Stunning eye candy! Worth the drive up the hill! State Highway 410 off of 12 just west of Naches. The pictures were taken while I was working on the road. The pictures were taken just over the pass on the west side looking west from the east. There are some nice hikes in the area at the top of the pass.
