Chinook pass and right around the corner, Tipsoo Lake, are one of the best places to get amazing photos of Mt. Rainier with the lake reflecting the mountain, in the right conditions. This is a jumping off point for some hikes, including connecting with the Pacific Crest Trail. The hike around Naches Peak takes you into alpine meadows, view of Dewey Lake and in season, some amazing wildflowers.
