LCBC Ephrata — Attraction in Ephrata Township

The variety of speakers and messages mixed with the creative and bold presentation throughout all services all but force me to attend this church. I've tried and enjoyed other churches but this one is the most engaging and fulfilling for me and my kids. Speakers provide sermons via telecast across several screens that ensure visibility for all. Worship is loudly powerful and resonates well after it concludes. Sunday school is secure, welcoming and entertaining with plenty of opportunities for retreats and missions trips. The people were very friendly. The music was excellent. HOWEVER, it was kinda weird for me to see the lead pastor on a screen instead of in person. I suppose it's more about the message than how it was being delivered. But being in the auditorium with a screen instead of a live pastor preaching felt like "1984". I believe all of the LCBC's are like that, not just ruling out this location.

Awesome for people who aren't sure about church. Great for people coming back after being away and wanting to start out again without to much attention focused on them. If you want to go to a church and are worried about people getting into your business too much, this is a great church. You have to put in the footwork if you want to go anywhere within the church. It suits me very well at this stage...
