I was really excited about this restaurant because Ephrata does not have much to choose from when it comes to Asian food. There is only one in the area that has good food and it’s a Thai restaurant. However, this restaurant seems to cook a broad variety of Asian food from Chinese to Vietnamese. I wasn’t sure if that was good but thought I’d give them a try.
I purchased a basic beef and broccoli combo with shrimp fried rice. I also ordered a side of chicken wings. The beef and broccoli was ok, but the rice was NOT fully cooked. Rice is a basic part of Asian cuisine, and if you can’t get that right then what can you cook? That was half the meal and I threw it out. The chicken wings were not good either. They cut them up to make you think your getting a descent amount. They were cut into six pieces which equates to 3 chicken wings. I would have preferred the normal 4 wings without being cut. To top it off the wings were over cooked. Let’s say I did not enjoy my dinner that night. I hope you guys do better at making sushi.
To the owner: To be more explicit in my verbiage, let’s say not fully cooked rice. Meaning the rice had hard pieces (like rocks) that were not edible. The rice was not fully cooked!
$5.96 for 3 whole chicken wings...

Absolutely incredible sushi!! We had the volcano roll and angel roll and both were out of this world amazing! Highly recommend if you like sushi (and suggest you try it if you think you don't:). The crab rangoons and shrimp dumplings were incredible appetizers as well!

We came back again with high expectations, but I was afraid my expectations were too high from the first time. But no, if anything, my expectations were exceeded!! This place just flat out knows how to make Asian food! They make the best sushi I've ever had!! My wife had the orange chicken and that was also fresh and delicious! It looks small and unimpressive from the outside, but you gotta try this place, the food will...
Read moreSo we just moved to the area and my family of 6 had a craving for Chinese. This was the first place that popped up when I looked for nearby Chinese and it had a good rating so I ordered. Thoroughly disappointed and will not order here again. All of the lo mein and fried rice we ordered smelled and tasted like seafood, yet we ordered none. Cross contamination? The fried rice also was yellow like the Mexican rice I make, and tasted off, but that could also be due to the seafood flavor. Once again cross contamination? The dumplings we ordered had very little meat and mostly green(spinach or kale or seaweed). The rest of the meal: the entree, spring rolls and egg rolls were okay. However, definitely not good enough for me to...
