Felicita Town Center — Attraction in Escondido

I go to Felicita Town Center to shop at Major Market. Everything there is best quality: groceries, meats, delicatessen, and BAKERY! They stand behind their products 100%....and the service staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I buy my Thanksgiving turkey spices there --- Bell's Poultry Seasoning, every year. Always a winner to shop there! Don't forget to check out the produce; if you would like to know which apples are tart --- and which are sweet ---- or want to taste one before buying, ask the man in the green smock; he knows, and will cut up one for you. Every Department has helpful and friendly staff ready to answer questions and assist you with purchases. Felicita Town Center is a great spot to find just about anything... Except clothing, (hence only 3 stars). I debated giving it 4 stars but pretty much every other promenade and stripmall in the city have some kind of place to purchase clothing. There is a shop where you can literally buy a bong or designer hookah there, but there is no place to buy a pair of shorts to get relief from the 110° heat of the Escondido Summer. The rest of Felicita Town Center is great. Major Market is an awesome place to shop for your next meal, with hard to find items including microbrew sodas and soft drinks, and plenty of other items you won't find at the local Albertsons or at the Vons across the street. Bought two walnut apple coffee cakes at Major Market. First time in April and gave it to a friend for a luncheon. Second time last week for myself to take to a friend's for dessert after dinner. There was smidgen of apples (mainly syrup) and hardly any walnuts!! I read the long list of ingredients to find the apples and walnuts the last ingredients on the list after yellow food coloring. So disappointing. I asked my friend about the cake I gave her last month and she didn't want to tell me that there were no apples either. Never again. You are so much better than that Major Market!!!
